I guess we should get this over with.... -
Are the 2023 White Sox the worst Sox team you've ever seen?

Food for thought: since the opening series, this team’s winning percentage is at a scorching 17.8%... -
That is the look of a man with no answers, and no idea what he should be doing.
-
1-12, 16 LOB in the SERIES for this team, with RISP.
-
7 innings, 1 walk, 12 K's by this team. NO ONE's job should be safe, with how this organization looks right now.
-
Game is over, because the team sucks, so...hey, lets try and burn Lambert's arm out, Cordero style.
-
At this point, most organizations with any clue, would realize at 26, Romy Gonzalez is what he is: AAA fodder that you use if you're down a few guys. Now, of course we are down a few guys, because everyone is made out of glass, but still...he has no purpose anymore.
-
Sosa and Romy are hitting .254......COMBINED.
-
-
Andrus as the leadoff hitter is definitely.............a move.
-
21 outs made by the White Sox tonight, 9 by strike out. Against Jose Berrios.
-
Luis now 5 for his last 43, with 3 BBs and 17K's
-
Want yet another stat that shows just how bad this team is? Before tonight's game, which definitely will also be in this stat, care to guess how many games this year, a starting pitcher has gone 6.1 IP or more? Twice. All Year.... a 6.1 IP on Opening Day by Cease, and a 7 IP effort from Lucas recently. That is a recipe for turning an already bad bullpen, into an albatross.

He ain't wrong. Lynn shouldn't need to hear it from someone else, to realize he has gone full "doesn't give a fk" mode.

IF Hanser Alberto (strained left quad) Expected return: Late April or early May Alberto will head for a rehab assignment soon, manager Pedro Grifol said. Prior to hitting the injured list on April 16, the infielder hit .211 with one home run and four RBIs over eight games. "He's a part of this team," Grifol said. "A good part of this team, and I'm looking forward to having him back." Lol, what? Good part of this team? My goodness....

What an embarrassing list to still be on. But, it goes with the territory. If we don't get ownership relief at some point in my lifetime, there is no reason to think it will ever change. Hell, even the generic, cookie cutter stadium is 32 years old, now. If you don't count the 'classic' stadiums (LA, Bos, CHC), this dump is now the 4th oldest stadium, too. Everything about this organization screams '2nd rate citizen in a 1st rate city'
-
Funny, Atlanta did the same thing, yet they don't have nearly the degree of terrible effort, results and indifference. Perhaps its more the organization itself?
-
Even golden child AV is now down to a robust .244 BA. 2 hitters over .250 in the lineup.
-
Not to mention...Jared Kelley.....walk machine extraordinaire. We've been so good at drafts!
-
I always think we've seen Luis Robert's worst AB for the year, then he comes back up to hit, again.
-
Feels like Colas has been ice cold, since the game winner many moons ago.

Eloy is back to losing his battle against the .200 line.
