Just to keep anyone updated. This recall occurred about two weeks ago and continues. It theoretically only affects the diamond foods on the east coast. Diamond has plants on the east coast, South Carolina, Midwest, Missouri, and the west coast, California. There was an issue two months ago with foods in Nor California with their smell. The foods smelt burnt. This had to do with new ingredients being added here in Nor Cal. Also, for those that do not know diamond makes a lot of the generic brands you buy such as Kirkland or Kirkland premium. They also make chicken soup for the soul. We had a problem here in the bay area with the media jumping on the story, but not telling the whole story. This forced diamond to release an emergency letter to all media outlets here in the bay area explaining that this recall only affects other regions. With that said if you feel that your dog is experiencing any of the symptoms take your food back ASAP.

hey I was at the game today and I thought the call was odd but fair. I was near homeplate and had a good angle. I think what the umps were basically saying is the sox hitters are turning into the ball rather then steping back or turning at an angle that looks as if the hitter was getting out of the way. Also I think there were two reasons he got thrown out. One he kept arguing the call after the play and I could be mistaken but I may have thrown his bat when he popped up. Crede, of course this is hindsight, should have had more composure there especially when two of the infield reserves are hurt. Oakland fans started dogging me when they saw Dye at short Did anyone see the person that ran into the field when the ninth started? Probably not. Some A's fan fan onto the field just to run waving his hands around because he went from the first base side all the way to right before he was tackled. Was pretty funny acutally seeing this guy get his ass kicked by the security.

As the Bay area Rep let me just say that there are some harsh criticisms of my little circle of the world (or Not ). If you are coming to the SF area. I would definatly do some of the tourist things most have suggested. 1) Fishermans warf 2) China town. When you get to the warf, and get board take the trolly up to Chinatown, a great experience I think for first time visitors. The trolly also gets on and off near Ghirardelli square. A great chocolate factory. 3)If doing the warf thing go to alcatraz 4) most of the museums are nice. Yurba Buenna area is nice. Have a Mall like structure called the Metreon theatres, playstation store etc.... 5) THe wine country is nice. That is actually a two day event. The nort bay is Nappa Valley. In the near south bay is Livermore. THe climents are slightly differnt and the wines have a different taste. I personally like Livermore because of the atmosphere. Not to many tourist know about Livermore (the wineries like that) so it wont be as crowded. If up in Napa. Try a Museum Called Copia is a a great place to learn about foods and art and the like. 6) There is a Microbrewery called Pyramid Brewere here in Berkeley. I enjoy there beer. That would be a great evening out 7) If you like to experience differnt cuisines I am sure SF has some great places, but the east bay especially berkeley is such a melting pot of ethncities. If this interests you I can give you a few to try. 8) There were a lot of comments about how cold it can get. The funny thing about SF is that in one place you will need your coat and a mile a way shorts and a t-shirt. When my parents came to visit me last year. All my dad did was complain that he has to pack three pairs of clothes just for fifteen minutes. 9) The GG is a nice experience, but be forwarned if you take a car that is does cost. I think it is either six or seven to cross. You can always walk across or ride bicks. 10) There is a show out here that is called Bay area Backroads and the host has written a book Backroads a nice little travel companion. See there is always something to do here is the Bay Area. Any other questions I will try and answer.

Proposed Chicago Baseball Museum
CaliSoxFan replied to bjm676's topic in A and J's Olde Tyme Sports Pub
This sounds like an interesting idea, but it still seems like a pipe dream. The article says that he has an advisory team, which is in the extremely early stages to get a museum started. One section that I think would be interesting is an early baseball exhibition hall. When I worked/interned at the Chicago Historical Society, I learned that during the Civil War the confederate soldiers may have played a game against the union army. It wasn't called baseball then had the same idea, and many of the sport manufacturing companies started up in Chicago. I also like the idea because I am looking for a job at the moment in the museum field. -
I noticed that some were mentioning that they were having a hard time making money in owner mode there first year. If you make the playoffs that is were you can charge outragous amounts off money. I ended up with nearly ten million. Of course my payroll was 45 million. I am playing as the nationals. Traded away all there useless high priced players they got this off season and went after top 100 prospects and the like. During the first season. It seemed every time I had a homestand I would get close to breaking even and then a long road trip would come up and I was back down to -3 million. But with my fans happiness nearly full and adjusting the prices to the games I was able to make a small profit at the end of the year. Making the playoffs is the most improtant thing and having a small payroll.

Here is mine for the state game You're The Moon! You frequently take small steps, but you think very highly of each and every one of them. This aloof attitude doesn't begin to reflect how high and mighty you actually are, though you are able to reflect light onto others when it seems appropriate. Whether the glass is half full, half empty, waxing pedantic, or even crescent-shaped is something ever-changing in your perspective. These mood swings at least follow a consistent cycle, one that makes others believe you have mystical powers. Ultimately, your head is always in the clouds and you just can't seem to stay grounded. here is my counrty You're Egypt! Curator of ancient mystical secrets, your life on the surface is fairly typical these days. Though you are in denial about more things than most people. Nevertheless, you're trying to convince people that you're safe despite your more volatile and unstable times that seem to be behind you. You like cats a whole lot. You'd probably really appreciate The Blue Pyramid.

Is this the same host that said the sox will sign Rob nen of a minor league contract. I will keep in tune to KNBR 680, but football is on right now.

Dustin Hermanson Signed by the White Sox

I like this move. Watching Giants games this year, I thought he did decent in his relief appearances. He seems to have some issues when guys get on, but for the most part this is a good signing. If I am not mistaken he has a decent fastball, which would complement Shingo pretty well,if the report is true that he would be a setup man. Hell, if the sox go one winning steaks he can be used as a closer. -
