  2. I am in a museum studies graduate program, and at the end of the semester I need to create a fictional public program. I decided to do a Basebal program looking at the Cubs and Soxs. I am creating an activity kit that would include eight to ten things. This progam would focus on elementry school childern. Basically I have to create an "activity kit" and write an educational activity to accompany it. What would you like to see in such a kit. Please only serious replies. Thanks everyone in advance

  5. a few hours away - it dawned on my yesterday that I can describe where I live as half way between the Cell and the Big House which makes it sound like a bunch of prisons or something So that should put you between Lansing and Albion?
  6. Perhaps we can amputate his arm, clone Olivio's, and attach it to Alomar!!! But the way cloning has gone lately the arm would age and fall off by all star break

  9. Great post since I started posting on this board I noticed one thing. That WhiteSox fans are pesimistic, (sp) and always need something to complain about. I learned this from reading posts and finally said I am not different there are more like me Anyway what you say is true, and I am trying to stay positive because hell the season just started. Maybe the reason I am staying positive is the idea that I cannot get the games and depend on informantion on the internet, and all my cyber comrads here at.
  10. yahoo gamecast has Crede playing third for the Indians. An in game trade
  11. Can't hit and run with a guy striking out as much as he has so far this season. Ture, but sometimes that can get a guy into the grove.

  14. Monday on my way home I heard an interview with beane on the sports station out here. He couldn't get over this guy and says if he has two or three good outings he is going to AAA, and he still excels this year do not be surprised if he is with the A's this summer. Was a interesting interview

  16. I have been having the same problem. I keep it on box score. The box score lets you know what really happened. Ie. strikeout 2b, hr
  17. maybe he's not seeing the ball. Sometimes, and this may be hard to believe, pitchers can decieve certain hitters. This pitcher just might have Frank's number

Well the hitting is hard. But I have to say the angles suck the same old over view angel gets old. I had the game for two weeks now and am board with it. Oh ya, the francise mode is ok. I don't know if anyone else has observed this, but the schedule for the expansion team is the same every year. Hell I have 40 straight home games. Going funcoland to trade it in. I also feel the graphics suck, with the exception of the staduims. Only noticed this schedule because I wanted to see what the offseason was like.
  21. If you contract teams what are you going to do with their minor league clubs. What about the jobs that would be lost. THink about this if you contract one team. The city loses money, the people working for the big leage club lose their jobs. Now you have the minor league teams and the same effect will occur. Solve this problem than I will agree to contract. It's MLB's fault for expanding to quickly during the 90's, and they are now suffering. Why blame the people who work and go to the park.
  22. He probably won't bat the rest of the game so what is up with Konerko hitting only .067 thus far
