Eventhouh the name has changes, when people go to games they are still going to say " I'm going to Comiskey" or "Sox Park" so screw the name. The only time it will hurt is when they are on national TV.

Just heard that The Orioles today named Jim Beattie as executive vice president of baseball operations and Mike Flanagan as vice president of baseball operations. I guess they are to share the duties of baseball operations.

I also heard up here in the bay that Kent may go to the Dodgers just to stick it to the Giants.

Maybe KW has a plan with so many relievers. His plan might be to have one starter in Buerhle, and the rest of the game relievers will come in every two or three innings. Just a thought

Who would the SOX give up for Redman. Second I don't see him comming to the Sox because he is in the same division. I just don't see teams prior to the season or at the beginning of the season trade someone within the same division. When you have to play a team 17 times, why would you give them someone that can start and pitch against you, possibly four times. I actually like Redman and think he would be great in a Sox uniform, but I just don't see it happening.

Living here in california I don't have the pleasure to see, hear, or read about the sox that often. Most of the news I get is from the internet ie. ESPN, Sporting News. With that said, Is it possible our buddy KW doesn't want to make any moves unil the Dec. 7th deadline passes. This would only make sense because the Sox would know how much will go to Frank either through a restructuring of his contract or a deferment. I say this because I feel he will be back. With him "out of the way" more emphasis can be paid for a starting pitcher, and/or maybe a trade. I know a lot of people want the young player to play, but what if the SOX brought in a veteran, and a high quality starter to solidify the rotation. well just some thoughts
