  1. I think Pedro getting whacked should be on the table but both Hahn and KW went out of their way to say he's not a problem. IMO, just another case where they don't even want to consider they were wrong going after the cheapest guy available. And if someone can explain to me this hitting "system" that is taking a while to catch on. What kind of system which is aimed at making batters more selective, and swinging at strikes, makes players poor at doing that, initially, for at least 100 AB, probably more, make them even less selective, and chase more than they ever did? It's obviously spin. They have an awful hitting coach.
  2. What they need is an out of town writer since the beat guys are too reluctant to get controversial, ask Hahn and KW when they bring up accountability, exactly what has been done regarding them being held accountable. What have they done to hold others accountable....
  3. How does Rick Hahn say on one hand no one is harder on him than himself, and on the other b**** about negative fans who think everything he does, is wrong?
  4. They know they won't be fired. Its their way of showing fake accountability. If they really felt as much responsibility as they claim, they would have resigned citing incompetence. Telling JR, if you aren't going to fire us, we will fire ourselves. Hahn saying he needs to "continue to earn" when the f*** did he ever earn it? 2 winning seasons in 11 years, and 1 was a 60 game season fans couldn't even attend. Think about it, he has been the GM 11 seasons and only 1 of those seasons could you buy tickets to go see a good team, and really that was only the first half before they became mediocre again. I doubt there is a GM with a tenure that long that has ever been as consistently bad. The excuses are ridiculous. Players are learning a system? This isn't football. If the system is chase less, why are they almost all chasing more? How in the world could that be part of the process, and if it was, why did they not prepare to be historically bad for a while? The team is just bad. They have failed at their jobs. KW and Hahn need to go away. Take Getz with you. There has to be someone they could hire to run the minor leagues who can develop players enough so when they are called up they don't look like they just started playing baseball last week. We look at the product on the field and see total failure. We don't even mention they can't even call anyone up. Their minor league system is so bad and so injured, there is no one to even call up when guys hit .120 and play poor defense. JR used to say the White Sox were a public trust. Basically the fans were the real owners. If that was how he really felt, he would try to do something to fix this moving forward. But crickets. He is nothing but a bullshitter. If I wasn't so invested, and so sad and angry, if this was the Cubs, I'd be laughing my ass off at this organization daily. The organization from top to bottom is a joke. Sell the team Jerry.
  5. Rick Hahn has been GM since 2013. This is his 11th year, and his team has been over .500 only one year fans could attend games.
  6. I’m shocked they get so mad. White Sox tickets are gold. They recently had a promotion for tax day, $4.15 tickets. I received the email, hit the link to see what it was about, and was put in a waiting room for 50 seconds or so due to high demand. LMAO. How stupid do they think people are?
  7. They can’t send anyone down. They have no one to call up. Another reason to fire Rick Hahn.
  8. So since KW decided to tell us he’s not pleasant to be around these days, the Sox have been out scored 28-2.
  9. I hope someone with some pull with the White Sox has listened to Berto, and realized what he said is really accurate. White Sox fans deserve better. Not maybe in the offseason. Not maybe at the All Star break. But right now. Roll some heads. Show everyone you want to be different than you've been.
  10. It's only his 44th year. Give him some time. And you see what the Bulls were when they were happily rid of MJ. They actually thought their domination was them. They haven't been to a Finals since. 1 conference final 13 playoff misses and 8 1st round exits. Even though Bulls fans sell out his arena every night with crap , he refuses to ever go over the luxury tax for them, instead just lining his pockets with money he will never spend. He needs to go.
  11. It was that thing he did with AJP blasting Brooks Boyer saying jR needs to sell, and not optimistic about the Sox chances.
  12. The first sign that something really was off was the interview with Hawk. That guy used to think the Sox had a shot down 7 with 2 outs in the 9th. Even he has seen enough.
  13. The funny thing about Rick blaming a tweet for a trade falling through is the person who tweeted it either got the info from Rick or one of his lackeys.
  14. JR actually used to show up at Soxfest. I don't think he did any seminars, but he would be walking around.
  15. It's hard to believe they couldn't find a more appropriate partner. I wonder if Manfred wonders what the hell is going on. Wouldn't MLB be better as a whole if the American League franchise in the country's 3rd largest city was run like a big market, and actually spurred interest from its residents?
  16. Im sure JR is glad he no longer has the Berto Center.
  17. I think you have the start time what they gave the players. It actually starts at 6:10.
  18. I bet it still is. One thing he mentioned about JR that rarely gets mentioned, is JR lucked into Michael Jordan. The bulls were lucky at 3 he was available, and the next year JR bought the team. Without that stroke of luck, JR is no better than a McCaskey.
  19. The lack of depth has always been a problem for this organization, but it wasn't as big of one when they were tops in the league in health. Now that half their roster, including most of their key players will spend weeks on the IL, the lack of depth is exposed like no other time . KW's comments were just empty. Hahn will probalby do his first game of the homestand with some more BS. How about doing something else.?
  20. Not only did he not land Machado, he blew 8 figures on his worthless friends. He spend $15 million on Leury Garcia. I know one thing, if Rick was ever homeless, Leury's family would take care of him.
  21. I agree with about 99% of this. Especially at the end. If your job is making you physically ill, and not pleasant to be around, every career counselor would tell you to find another position. We need a rogue beat writer today to ask Hahn how much of this failure he pins on himself, and don't let him get away with a non answer.
  22. It’s not game over is a lie. No team has ever started 7-18 and made the playoffs. They have always said you can’t win a title in April, but you can lose one. They lost one.
  23. He will say they are not off to the start they imagined. Mention injuries. Say they should get a couple of guys back soon. They still believe in the team and the coaching staffs ability to get the most out of them. Mention that they have dug themselves a hole, but the good news is there is still time to get themselves out of it. Will say they are always looking for ways to improve. You know, the same s%*# he says every year..
  24. I thought this team would at least have a 4 or 5 year run of being really good and perhaps longer. It ended with the LaRussa hire, and is only getting worse. It’s almost hard to believe how bad they are. But there is no secret as to why they aren’t scoring. Robert leading off then hitting 3rd the way he’s going. Andrus leading off? That incompetence making out the line up card. They still would have lost most likely. But a team struggling, watching them go down so easily in the first inning can deflate the team. I have no idea what Pedro is thinking here other than please fire me, I want to go home.
