Does Politte have the speed to get a HR hit off him?
If Politte sees Ortiz and Ramirez, the Red Sox are going to score.

I'm seeing way too many protect swings from our hitters. Gload definitely didn't attack those last couple of pitches.
I think its pretty indicative of not being able to see very well, plus Hansen has good stuff. I wish the White Sox would have taken him.
You really can't blame Gload there. Its really hard to hit right now. Vazquez should stick to his slider, and fastball. They'll have a hard time picking it up.

I think h e swung after it was already in the glove there.
Its probably really hard to see the spin on the ball right now.

Dye was charging at him and almost passed him, would have if he sat on third to tag up.
Dye wouldn't have passed him. His eyesight appears to be fine. I just don't think Dye tagged up either. So really Dye wouldn't have scored that inning.

This game should already be over. Mack would of never been up to bat. This is on Gload and his inability to recognize a situation that they teach you in pony league. When the ball is in the air, make sure you tag up at 3rd. If it falls you skate in anyways.
Did Dye tag up?

The matchup.
I think if he can hit Schilling, he can hit Timlin. It just seems almost everytime the Sox pinch hit and weaken their defense, the ball starts heading towards that weakness.
