  1. QUOTE(winninguglyin83 @ May 27, 2006 -> 06:32 PM) thought Schoenweis thought he was too talented to pitch outta the pen Reality kicked his ass.
  2. My wife is trying to take our dog out, but he won't go, he's watching the game.
  3. Pod's average is in freefall since he got it to .300
  4. If a guy is going to give that pathetic of an attempt at a bunt twice, they should have made him try again. I bet the effort would have been a little better.
  5. Hawk should mention how brutal the Sox have been with SAC.
  6. As unsure I am about Nelson, I'd much rather see him here than Montero. If Montero came in here, the game would only last a few more pitches at most.
  7. Hopefully Nelson can find the strike zone.
  8. QUOTE(Friend of Nordhagen @ May 27, 2006 -> 06:09 PM) Anyone think that JD looks a little slower this year -- in the field, and, like, just now? He takes long strides. He looks a lot slower than he really is, except for maybe that last play.
  9. JD was doing his best Konerko impression going from first to third.
  10. Who does Toronto have left in their bullpen?
  11. QUOTE(shawnhillegas @ May 27, 2006 -> 06:05 PM) raise your hand if you thought he would have an era 4 points lower that cliff politte I figured Politte would not be very good this year, but not quite as ineffective as he's been.
  12. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ May 27, 2006 -> 06:02 PM) I'm not as high on Coop as most people. Why can't he fix Judy and Cliff? Coop's a good pitching coach. He's not a miracle worker. He's just like most coaches and managers, they get way too much credit when things go right, and take on way too much blame when things are bad.
  13. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ May 27, 2006 -> 06:00 PM) I am baffled. Besides Jenks, his options are pretty slim. I don't know if Toronto has a lefty on the bench, but if he brings in Nelson and Toronto pinch hits a lefty, the odds go to Toronto. If Politte comes in, if Toronto signs me and sends me to bat, the odds are in Toronto's favor.
  14. QUOTE(shawnhillegas @ May 27, 2006 -> 05:57 PM) well since the cubs season is over maybe they will give us howry and eyre KW tried to sign Eyre. Howry even as good as he's been makes a ton of cash for his position. I don't think the Cubs would move either of them, especially to the White Sox.
  15. I wonder who would coach 3rd if Ozzie got tossed. Jeff Nelson up just in case someone needs to be walked.
  16. If anyone has ever got a ball at USCF, have you ever noticed they seem a little dirtier than the balls used elsewhere?
  17. A bloop hit, or a check swing that goes into LF still could have occurred.
  18. Pods failure doesn't mean anything with the 2 K's, unless Ozzie was thinking of bunting, or Ryan felt a little more pressure with runners at second and third and the infield in.
  19. Thome has struggled against Ryan in his career.
  20. QUOTE(whitesoxin @ May 27, 2006 -> 05:46 PM) I just don't get why Pods can't get the job done in that situation a lot. Anyways, we need a hit here. He's actually has got the job done more frequently this year than last when everyone thought he was a MVP candidate.
  21. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ May 27, 2006 -> 05:43 PM) How about Cintron here Oh, I see why
