  1. QUOTE(whitesoxfan99 @ Jan 17, 2006 -> 06:56 PM) Did you see the foul calls that went against Augie and Pruitt? Those were as weak as they come. I'm clearly frustrated right now, over exaggerated, but IU is definitely getting all the calls. That's life in the Big Ten. Home teams get most of the calls. Its been that way forever.
  2. QUOTE(Steff @ Jan 17, 2006 -> 04:17 PM) Good grief. I would be pissssssstttt off if I spent $15K and had no post season options... Isn't that the truth. I wonder how many full season tickets they can sell with no post season. Whoever the person is who can sell them ought to get a huge bonus. Does anyone know if the ticket reps work on salary or if they get commission for every account they open?
  3. QUOTE(WinningUgly85 @ Jan 16, 2006 -> 04:31 PM) How much does an organist make? I doubt she makes much from the White Sox. Organists are a dying breed. I really doubt the Sox will have one after Nancy calls it a day, but with this new arrangement, I believe she will only work 28 dates in 2006, she's liable to be there another 20 years.
  4. Maybe the offense can score again and get the 2 point conversion. Of course if there is any time left on the clock, Carolina will just march right down the field and score again.
  5. The Bears are cooked. The Defense choked.
  6. He finally couldn't throw to Smith because Urlacher was covering him.
  7. Let me guess, Steve Smith will be thrown to every pass this series, and will be lonely at least twice. The Bears need to get a sack or two, because whatever they do about Smith doesn't appear like it will work.
  8. QUOTE(Brian @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 06:24 PM) I think the Bears will have it on the 1 yard line after this challenge. Thank God for the face mask or else the Panthers would have it on the 20. At least I think that is what should happen if I understand it. Its probably half the distance from where the facemask occured. I believe an automatic first down.
  9. The Bears will still have the ball on the facemask. It was a personal foul facemask, so I think its an automatic first down.
  10. You would think since he's been benched, Orton would get rid of that ridiculous beard.
  11. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 06:13 PM) When did the Bears last win a playoff game? Wasn't it in Minnesota under Wanne? I think that was 93 or 94.
  12. At least the offense is moving the ball. The thing that bothers me is Smith has no problem getting open, and it doesn't appear to be anything the Bears can do to stop him.
  13. The vaunted Bears defense fails to show up for the playoffs. I wonder if playing the last game at Minnesota like an exibition and having a week off has anything to do with it. Or did Carolina realize throwing away from Vasher will yield big yards.
  14. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 05:49 PM) Huge grab by Proehl. He's older than El Duque.
  15. Carolina scored so quickly in the first half and sort of burst the Bears' bubble. Now the Bears score quickly and Foster gets hurt. This game may take 4 hours to play.
  16. Wasn't the knock on Berrian that he was a bit soft? Since he came back from his injury, he's been impressive, even more impressive today.
  17. QUOTE(Brian @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 05:40 PM) During the season, when the defense has had tough 1st halves, they have gone to halftime and made the proper adjustments. Here's hoping they are lights out this half. I don't know if it includes the playoffs, but the Bears have lost their last 15 games when trailing at the half. Today would be a perfect time to end that streak.
  18. Now if they can do something about Peanut, the Bears will be back in business.
  19. DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA BEARSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
