Pedro has prepared them to kick KCs ass. This game is a lock.

Singing him to flip at the deadline doesn't make sense. he was flipped at the deadline last year for about the same return. Then released twice. He is who he is. Maybe he runs into one at the right time with the Royals at some point, but he isn't going to help them, and the Sox return shows they and the Royals know that.

At one point, they thought Sosa was ready. They thought Ramos was ready. What makes DeJong and Lopez more special than Romy Gonzalez? The problem is, the White Sox front office is as overmatched as their manager and coaching staff, and their roster. Colas isn't playing but Pham is. If you aren't going to get anything for Pham why sign him or why trade him? Why play Eloy any more? Why not let the younger OFs play a little and DH. Let Eloy go and let him find a team for the minimum. Do the same with Moncada, unless he would rather be done rehabbing first. But they won't

Lopez, DeJong, Pham, they all performed about as expected or even slightly better. Maldonaldo was about what everyone thought except the Wihite Sox. Brebbia was injured, and probably a bit worse. All these guys that took time from kids was useless and a waste. A waste of a year.

The one positive with that is if JR would wake up and hire a real GM, and let him sign him or trade him. But that won't happen.

Really? Thy won 61 games last year, and can only pick as high as 10. Historically awful was the goal? We were told they cannot waste a year.

Not only that but 50 games of Paul DeJong. This is nothing for nothing, although Schriffen will be upset. he thought DeJong had Ohtani power.

It's the White Sox. Holding grudges is their thing.

I tend to agree. A couple of months of 3 and 4 inning outings isn't going to get anyone to up their offer. he'll be making more coin. And there is always a possibilty he gets hurt. With Getz going public, you would think the relationship isn't right for an extension.
