  1. It's so funny he's talking how Contreras is barking, and he's just running back to the dugout. It was just phony.
  2. I think once you get to 70 under .500, if the team was too aftraid to fire you, it should be automatic.
  3. He is, but he doesn't come across as the most fun guy to be around.
  4. Nashville should be careful what they wish for. 44 seasons, now under .500. He'll have an even smaller budget in Nashville, but will get a park for free.
  5. It doesn't seem Pham is a fan of Eddie Rodriquez "It was a shallow fly ball to left field. You would expect the left fielder to throw the baserunner out on that play," he said. "The third-base coach [Eddie Rodriguez] sends you, you've got to go. I'm nailed out at home by a mile.
  6. He's in an impossible spot, but the problem I have with Schriffen, is his spin totally disrespects his audience. The people still watching this crap know far more White Sox history than he possibly ever will. The people still watching this crap understand baseball maybe at least as well or better than he does or ever will. Quit spinning. We all know this is garbage. You are what your record says you are. 15-45 is historically bad. Own it.
  7. Yep. It's impossible to make money owning an MLB team, but JR can't sell because the Capital Gains tax will be just too much. LMAO.
  8. Also fire Remillard. He isn't good enough to get a pass on all the damage he's done.
  9. Who knows if it will help or not. What definitely doesn’t help and evidence sort of shows makes things worse, is doing nothing. Fire this clown. Things have gotten so bad, Schriffen can’t even pop off out of line.
  10. Yeah, they have younger guys sitting and rotting, while the manager says you have to earn your opportunity, and lets this guy stink up the place. Now says he’s been playing hurt. OK. Next they will blame his injury on his awful performance forgetting if that is why he sucked why would you continue to throw him out there? What a mess of a team. Fire everone.
  11. Pedro was telling us in Spring Training that Maldonado wasn’t a .180 hitter. I think he thought he was better than that, buy he is right, he isn’t a .180 hitter. He only wishes he was.
  12. The schedule makers and the umpires have conspired to make the White Sox seem like they awful, when, in fact, it’s just a tough stretch every team goes through. He should be a politician. i have the feeling that one year ago John Schriffen couldn’t name 8 players that spent the majority of their career with the White Sox.
  13. “I feel fortunate that I work for an owner like Jerry,” Grifol said Wednesday before a 3-1 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays at Guaranteed Rate Field. “I just think that he’s been in this game for 44-45 years, and he’s a baseball guy. I’m fortunate to have the opportunity to work for him and wear this uniform with them. So I’m grateful to be here.”
  14. I'd personally go with Jirschelle. Let him make some mistakes, and have some growing pains. Make sure he isn't Pedro Jr. when the team has the horses to win.
  15. It happened again. https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/40243281/yankees-rally-win-wonky-interference-call-1st
  16. The White Sox are farther from getting out of last place than any other AL team is of first place. Pedro Grifol era? Just flush it.
  17. I would like to know why last night Pedro didn't say the team was flat. Wasn't it basically the same game as the night he finally popped off, except against inferior pitching?
  18. Listening to Schriffen, Pedro is great, most of the players are studs. It's amazing they ever lose, let alone almost every night.
  19. For some reason, I think if the Sox go meekly into the night and become the first White Sox team ever to get swept an entire homestead of at least 7 games, Pedro is gone. 99% chance I'm wrong, but it just feels right.
  20. I'll take anyone. It's the time to see if they can develop into something when the team is actually ready to win. JR didn't want to waste time. Pedro in the dugout is a huge waste of time.
  21. Sox will try to avoid being swept for the 9th time of the season tonight. Last year, they were swept 8 times and lost 101 games. This year it didn't even take to Memorial Day to get to 8. Can't waste a year.
