Everyone knew they would suck. But to suck more than any team ever should be surprising, even if it seemed obvious after reflection.

That team was great until the second half. They were over .500 but barely. It seems to me, once Tony started really getting his footing, everything started to crumble. Horrible trades...they became an average at best team almost overnight. Were very mediocre the next year, but got some pulse back when Cairo took over. that went away after a bad loss to Cleveland,and they basically gave up.

If 1. happens, 2. follows really fast.

I think having Tony "retire" would help at least a little bit. It certainly wouldn't hurt. It all started going wrong once he started getting comfortable.

The Blackhawks pre and post seems the same. The Bulls is the same except minus Wil Perdue. Supposedly they will guest that spot occassionally. Ozzie was on the commercial so I figure he'll be back. Our Chuck was a little negative, so who knows how that will play with JR.

The Spiders had all their good players transfer to another team because their owner owned both, including Cy Young, and they played liked 75% road games. I want this record for Jerry. He's earned it. He ignored all the warning signs.

Schriffen may have outdid himself last night when fans were chanting sell the team and clearly wanting to see history, cheering for Angels runs and booing after the Sox won by thanking the fans for coming out last night and showing the love.

Yeah he seemed so proud of the signings he made last winter. 36-120.

Even if they lose tonight, if they lose tomorrow, they will set a new record.

The only positive about attending is you don't have to listen to Schriffen make the Sox out to be the 1927 Yankees.

We got the these guys are playing for the careers this year. Next year will be they are really playing for their careers.

If this was any other business but professional sports, running it this incompetently would not only cost you money, you would be out of business.

Schriffen had time off at least 3 times. 2 for Ultimate Fighting, and one for Summer League basketball. At least Jason is doing big time stuff, and is quite good away from Steve.

Mike Shirley will be the scouting director as long as Getz is around. He's the scout that signed him. You can't complain about his first rounders yet. But it would be nice to see the Sox develop multiple contributors from the same draft. Their 2nd round history has to be the worst in the sport.

The problem is, we won't know if this guy is any good for probably 6 or 7 or 8 years.

Personally, the all time record for losses in a season matters to me. I also think it matters to 99.99% of White Sox fans. Maybe not you, but you haven't made sense in quite a while. Kudos to you for listening to your idol and embracing the worst record of all time.

All I know is anyone could have built the worst team of all time under those circumstances. If you can't do better than the worst team of all time, you shouldn't hold the job.
