It was the only Blackhawk hockey I watched all season.
-
So what happens to him now? Can he be called up then have to clear waivers again if sent down?
-
Garcia 6th and Harrison 7th shows me they don't really look at the line up all that deeply. Also defense is not highly thought of. This season started like last ended. Offense went dormant after the 2nd inning and relievers walking guys.

Moncada IL, Burger up; Burr IL, Foster up
Harry Chappas replied to CentralChamps21's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Everyone hates Ruiz from the Cleveland game in 2020 The issue with Moncada are the expectations outweigh the results. He was traded for Sale and performed well out of the gate. He also gives the impression he is not giving 100%. I go back to the called strike three season where everyone begged for him to be less selective. If Moncada could play 2B and Burger 3B they may be better equipped moving forward. Anderson has the theatrics that people like. I personally think he is a terrible leadoff yet they will never move him. -
I also thought that was what Don Cooper believed.

I get the cost but Rocker would be so old school White Sox in that they will draft him and expect him to pitch in September and be in the rotation next year.

6th seed will have them destroyed by the Sixers...moving up to the 5th seed they may win a game or two v the Celtics.

Offseason Part 3 - Because Part 2 Was a Dud
Harry Chappas replied to CentralChamps21's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Reason 10,000 as to why you cut your losses and give Rodon the QO. This mistake just keeps expounding itself. I liked the trade but obviously there has been no due diligence on the pitcher's capabilities and desires. I wouldn't mind Hendricks in the Kopech role of last year going a couple of innings in a tight spot. -
I feel he is a blow hard, Anderson is just out going.

Offseason Part 3 - Because Part 2 Was a Dud
Harry Chappas replied to CentralChamps21's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I hate to admit this but I disagree with you. Kopech should have always have started in the minors to manage him as a starter until mid-May/June Rodon should have been given the QO and Kimbrel let go. They missed badly on this. One week away from starting and they have no 5th starter and relying heavily on Keuchel to not suck and Cease to be a #3 on on world series team..... Keuchel wasn't on the playoff roster and Cease wilted in the playoffs. Rodon wore down but is not injured (yet). This is what ruined the offseason. -
Picking up the option on Kimbrel then letting Rodon walk for nothing outweighs everything. That is a firable mismanagement of assets and at a minimum pure baseball stupidity.

Stroman seems to be someone that feels they need to be heard from often.

That's an impressive area down there and accessible from the park via section 108/109. -

From a marketing perspective those are all a step back. The varied options was always a big selling point to me. I liked the Corona on tap but not a big Modelo fan for the seats. -

If he is in the top 5 in Cy Young, not the worst idea. -

First I heard of him was yesterday. Seems to be the potential back up. -
At what point to people stop caring about the personalities in Hollywood and giving them an outlet. I can appreciate their content but they have zero credibility to me. Same thing with athletes.

Vaughn has a hip pointer injury, out 1-2 weeks

Andrew Vaughn hurts hip pointer, out 1-2 weeks per White Sox
Harry Chappas replied to Buehrle>Wood's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I hate to think this way but the longer there is no word the more likely to me that this is a major injury or that it is nothing and he is day to day. Not reporting and trying to fill the spot externally is what I am looking at and hopefully it is just an ASB thing in that case. Day to day is obviously best case and that is why he and Burger just have "discomfort". -

Leury Garcia is going to be the every day RF. How was Conforto a pipedream, he's not even signed. -
Burger is taking at bats away from Leury Garcia.
