  1. Sports media is the Bears and cubs then the rest. The Bears coverage is nauseating as they are bad and sports talk radio fills every moment up on different people covering the Bears telling us how bad they are in different ways. They pretend any of what is happening is not obvious and as such is news worthy.
  2. Machado's best years of that contract, the first three, are now behind him. He is only being traded as a salary dump. Harper seems better and it is staggering how the Phillies cannot win.
  3. I'm just glad the cubs and Padres a re not in the playoffs. Now to hope the Red Sox and Blue jays are knocked out then Yankees Tuesday. Then maybe the media will focus on the White Sox.
  4. Gavin and Vaughn will platoon at DH in the playoffs. Leury and Engel in RF. I think Cesar gets a shot at 2B.
  5. He will be in the conversation for a spot in the rotation as a 4/5. He has warranted that with his short arm release that is working. They are getting what they need out him. If he can hit 98/99 every other start and spot a slider he will be fine.
  6. ALDS were gone instantly. There is a chance ALCS games 3 and 4 are not possible to even be played that's why you got tickets. I have better playoff seats than I got with my season tickets. I will upgrade my season tickets for every game I go to.
  7. I got game 2 of the LCS and WS with a 20 game package
  8. Facing the NL will do that for a guy. At the end of July the biggest issues were Bullpen Catching question mark RF 2B Since the end of July the bullpen guys have settled down and the injured guys have returned
  9. Mine are my same seats. Yes I had to go into Ticketmaster to pay for them.
  10. With mobile ticketing what is the hurry? Sell as many 2022 ticket plans as you can and they are selling a lot. They can put tickets on sale the day before the game and have no issue.
  11. Maybe Hinch is mad the Sox didn't hire him and this is his way of making his point. Maybe he had an under the table deal with Hahn and is pissed.
  12. I bought a 20 game plan in the upper deck. 3 tickets decent seats, total cost $934. Gets me all ALDS, one ALCS and one world series. I got opening day in the plan.
  13. I'm not sure a team has a leader like Abreu since the Yankees had Jeter. It is not about stats or anything it is about being the unequivocal leader of the team and organization. He stands above everyone in that organization. The praise given to him by the players and coaches is unquestioned. His drive and desire are something special. Why would the Tigers feel the need to make a point.......well go look at the this board and all the shit that is piled on TLR when talking about unwritten rules and what not. Seems to me that AJ Hinch is cut from that cloth and cheating and hitting players are part of how he wants to play the game.
  14. The funny thing is Crochet was probably all kinds of pissed off for almost blowing the lead and then had an outlet for his aggression.
  15. Come home relax and go into the playoffs winning 7 in a row.
  16. I don't like the Tigers hitting Abreu fuck the Tigers.
  17. TLR tried to fight a catcher and was suspended when he had Mike Wright hit the AL MVP and good chance someone will get drilled next weekend. TLR has basically told us that Abreu walks on water, what more do you want in this regard?
  18. After the first two hits he gave up, the rest was on the umpire and fielding.
  19. Keuchel has no purpose on a playoff roster correct? It's not the hits that are a problem as much as the walks and WHIP.
  20. How many games have they won because players are rested and not playing every day? How will this play out in October? Nobody knows if there were guarantees the GM's job would be much easier. My guess is the Sox were working to get Tapera and Bryant and the cubs would not budge on that and that is how they got Kimbrel.
  21. A person in my community, I do not know him personally but do a lot of business with his company, died at age 52. Pretty healthy small business owner that was anti-vax and anti-mask. I am still mystified that people do not think this is a real thing.
