What Vaughn is learning on the job is amazing and a testament to the coaching staff.
-
Vaughn for Joc is an insanely lazy journalistic take. Bordering on embarassing. Bernstein is better than that and I don't like him.

The maid should out the first pitch

Sheets is left handed power something this organization has lacked since Harold.

Cubs expected to sell a lot, including Bryant, Kimbrel

Wait professional broadcasters think a joc pederson rental is worth Dylan cease.....both of them and an idiot caller -
Turnbull gettign hurt really impacted them. Of all of the Central division teams they seem to be the one trending in the right direction along with the White Sox .

Is it time to give TLR his due? And maybe some apologies?

I look at Edwin last year. Maybe there were not better options and over a 162 game season they would have cut bait but Tony seems to accept the youth more than Rickey or maybe the front office does now, who knows but the Wellington Castillo's are not getting the looks under Tony as they did Ricky and I like that. -
Go look at 1989 through 1994 and you will feel much better about thinking this way. Also for over 70 years the white sox had to compete with the Yankees for one playoff spot while those in the NL did not.

Tigers and Royals won't challenge for the division but they will continue to play hard .

What a nice bounce back series. That was the Liam Hendricks nail in the Twins coffin.
-
That'll work.

All season I have found him to be a little tough to watch as he is comfortable pitching from behind in the count and I am never comfortable watching a pitcher behind in the count.
-
Or maybe I am just an idiot.

It is becoming sadly obvious that Lynn and Giolito are no longer strike out pitchers who need to figure out how to be two pitch pitchers.
-
I wonder if it was a little nudge to Hahn by TRL by putting him leadoff as a way for Tony to tell Rick to get him out of here.

Reinsdorf had nothing to do with this move. He will have something to do with a move that takes on a substantial contract. Eaton is a sunk cost. Cutting him proves nothing in regard to fiscal thinking for the White Sox organization. The bottom line of the White Sox has not changed by this move.

I wish they would sit Moncada through the break. Gives him a good week off.

Eating salary only matters if they replace him with a high salary. He is DFA'd if someone picks him up they do not pay the salary. If they release him and he is replaced by Engel then there is nothing really gained other than Goodwin's salary which is nothing. Releasing him and taking on a decent sized contract shows a change in philosophy.

It takes a lot of intelligence time and effort to become a renowned scientist.....it doesn't take any of that to be a politician. The other problem is the media is too often portrayed as biased and as such nobody really knows what to think. The issue with media is filling content with opinionated personalities that are purported to be journalists and sully the reputation of that media provider. That is the problem with society today.

Berrios mastery of the white sox is something. 12-2 8-0 at home. May want to rethink the approach.

What a horribly constructed lineup.
