Really fascinating how they missed out to the D'Backs, cubs, Marlins and Reds while they floundered with the Cardinals and Mets. Baseball is a crapshoot and the White Sox have zero aim.

2023: MLB news not AL Central-related

Cardinals, Padres and Mets are trying to win. White Sox re not and other three don't have resources. -
Brewers would certainly be playing for cubs to not make it. The place will be more cub fans in round one. Cubs offense can beat anyone and is clearly the best of the four options. Cubs pitching isn't much but Steele gets them a game.
-
Still gotta be a favorite to get in with that schedule. Getting to play at Milwaukee will be a whole other thing as I am sure cub fans gobbled up tickets there. I know I would have if I was a cub fan. I can see that series being a pick'em. Brewers cannot hit and the roof removes foul weather.

I still find it odd that last week the issue in the media was the effort of the #3 wideout's blocking ability. Fields is regressing like every semi-talented White Sox player. -
They keep trumpeting the idea that the bad vibes in the clubhouse have been traded. While that could be true, I wonder if they will ever address the fact that this offense is not at all close to being a real offense. Grifol couldn't wait to get Anderson back into the leadoff spot. He is such a moron.

But Colas was sent down and the new catcher from Houston benched. Whole organization is a travesty.

New President may not like what he sees and cans them all. This is why Phillips should have stepped down earlier and maybe why Reinsdorf did not build up his front office. -
Wilder was viewed as home run hire from the Brewers I believe. He's a scumbag that should not be given any credence.

Spot on.

The White Sox seem to not understand that player development in Japan, American and other countries are different and as such need to take these differences into account when building a roster.

All goes back to the Bears and White Sox failing to hire anyone with a proven track record. Maybe Warren is the guy as he has some backstory but none of it revolves around winning football games. -
They certainly like to batter the young guys while those expected to succeed are allowed to flounder with no recourse. I am nto certain I recall a moment at all from Eloy. Feels like he has been out injured all season. What a s%*# show.

Fields checked down way to often. That is why there were no down field throws. The new guard stinks as does the center and maybe Whitehair does as well I don't really know. The DC should be the first guy to go. The D line gets zero pressure and they do nothing about it. All that being said, what does Eddie Jackson actually do out there other then wave his arms around after giving up a long gain? -
Look at those rosters. Doesn't take much to be in that race. With that being said, how the Padres, Mets and Cards not sniffing the playoffs is something.

It's becoming rather amazing how bad and also how good some of these guys ae. I get missing a strike at an innocuous time but to end the game. -
Working for fools doesn't make him a fool but he has shown nothing to lead us to believe he is not a fool. He needed to tell the world why he was the right choice. I have yet to see him tell me anything anyone that worked for the White Sox and was somewhat educated could state thus far. He is going to be as epic a failure as anyone in that bird brained organization.
-
He is an idiot. How that was not exposed in the interview process tells you everything you need to know about this clown car.
-
He's gotta be selling this team this offseason and wanted to f' over Hahn and Williams for wasting the last 12 years of his life right??????????
-
The amazing thing about people that crap on him is how clueless they are. The guy was was high draft pick that suffered injuries. This is not a guy that unexpectedly figured something out. This is truly indicative of how lost this organization is. This was a guy that in 2018 was looking like a guy. Well now he is a guy. He was too solid of a ballplayer for this organization. Madrigal is heading that way as well. Can't wait for any young player with an ounce of talent to be traded for Salvy Perez and Jameson Talllion this offseason.
-
I just saw the score. Not certain I'd consider myself a fan at this point. This is rock bottom and I've been a fan for over 40 years. Zero interest in these losers.
-
That was an embarrassment and that needs to be the top story. What a fucking joke of an organization. Getz had zero confidence in anything he said. He and Pedro are both losers.
-
they don't even have a media relations person. Why was Benetti running the press conference.
