I could tolerate Konerko, Thome seems like Ventura 2.0 I have no rationale for feeling this way.
-
He hung it and he missed it.

I was driving a long distance and put it on right when Burger homer so felt fir good luck I'd leave it on. Holy crap they were bad.
-
Why not put Eloy in OF. Seems his injuries don't impact things as much as thought. Maybe he gets hot and can be traded before tripping over foul line and tearing something.
-
Would be a great #9 hitter

Team is run by complete idiots. Seems like Andersons first time getting on base in first inning since April. A run may be too much to ask.

Merkin/Grifol..."By no means is this over"

You are exactly right. I go back to Thibs with the Bulls you felt that the guy was in charge. This crap is a clown car. Other then a few pitchers Im not sure there is a professional in that organization. -
Season should officially end next year by the end of May. Unlike this year when April ended it.

I think as recently as 10 years ago college baseball wasn't nearly as good as is it is now. I am sure NIL deals are impacting it greatly but very guys used to get full scholarship money and many had to pay to play at Power 5 conferences. I am sure they funding to some degree from schools but not like football or basketball.

Everyone believed Hahn was going to hire Hinch and that this was forced on him. Hinch is no great shakes of a manager and there is no chance he gets this team to play for him. If that plays out everyone gives Hahn a pass and blames Hinch. The dumbass hired Grifol. Sadly I am thinking if JR has any loyalty he fires Hahn for forcing a bad down town TLR's throat and potentially killing him.

Nothing points to him making this pick.

Cal Ripken If you think Tim Anderson has good footwork I'm not seeing the same things you are. Will he have great range, no clue, I've never seen him play but he played SS at a high level in the SEC so he seems to have done something right.
-
That's what I mean by instinct. Anderson is the epitome of speed meaning nothing. Not sure I like the pick but he's not a Lance Broadway pick.
-
I'd rather have a SS with good instinct over speed.
-
So Shirley picked the last three years and now after they've had success Hahn is going to push his way back in.
-
I like the pick with recent history. This pick in 2020 seems like a business as usual BS. They talk about controlling strike zone as an organization....too bad the MLB doesn't do this but looks like recent drafts focus in this.

Diamondbacks guy comps Nick Madrigal to me when.coming out.
-
Did the Angels draft a guy whose comp could be Gavin Sheets?

Rick better be locked in a broom closet.

He ain't giving up his money that easily. I still think he is whining because Benintendi received the contract he did and he truly believes he should be getting $30M a year. He seems like a spoiled child to me that feels everyone should cater to him. Sadly he still gets the loudest cheers at games. -

He's not selling and sadly he no longer cares about winning. I used to give him the benefit of the doubt but now I have to root for death for someone to hopefully put this idiot Rick Hahn out of work. If Hahn were fired tomorrow I'd be ok with JR running the team. Hahn make Gar Foremen look like Jerry West. -

With four days off maybe TA can find someone on IG that appreciates his struggles and understands him better then fans of baseball teams. -
