QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 28, 2011 -> 07:11 PM) On the way to being 7 games back. If we don't start playing good baseball, we're going to be back double digits in two weeks. Indians offense is for real. Everything about he Indians right now if for real. Javy and Jackson are .500 pitchers that do nothing to make their teams better except making them look really good on paper all winter and outside looking in, in October.

He is Javy Vazquez holy s***. anyway the Sox had their opportunities and pissed them away as was the case after the first yesterday you can send this one to Copperstown.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 28, 2011 -> 03:24 PM) Is McDowell held to a different standard because he's a coach? What if this guy said something just as insulting/vulgar to him initially? That's all I'm saying. McDowell is wrong and I'm sure he'll be disciplined by major league baseball and the Braves. But I'd like to hear both sides. I'm not going to automatically assume this was a nice guy who took his kids to the park and a pitching coach out of nowhere went verbally apes***. He went apes*** on the guys next to the nice guys family.

remember when hawk did this same thing and thought Crede was better than A rod.

1 run 3 hits 2 walks CC will throw 108 pitches Garcia will finish the game 6-2 Yanks. I do nto think we shut their bats down another night.

White Sox (Buehrle) v. Yankees (Tub O' Goo)

Thii offense sucks I do not care how many hits they are getting now, they have three legitimate hitters in their line-up right now and can not generate anything. -

Teahen has looked better at third but maybe in the spring they noticed that he still sucks. Putting the defense behind Buehrle is not important as it once was as now he is throwing batting practice. -

QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 27, 2011 -> 06:45 PM) That story was bogus Cooper did not deny it was not the case on the SCORE after it happened. -

QUOTE (Knackattack @ Apr 27, 2011 -> 06:41 PM) Teahen is garbage too... it really speaks to how pathetic this offense has been that we're asking for Mark f***ing Teahen. His has some talent and Colon is a good mat-up for him. When is Guillen going to do something with the players that are doing anything at all (Pierre and Beckham). -

Teahen should be in this game as he would be the most dangerous with Dunn here. God this offense sucks. -

Gordon really needs to be sent down for a couple of weeks. That was terrible. -

QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 27, 2011 -> 06:34 PM) Never thought I'd say this, but thank Lillibridge that Buehrle's contract is up. He's being paid a ton of money to be a mediocre #3 starter. A trip to the NL is what he needs to salvage his career. That is why I think they shut him down for a couple of weeks if Peavy comes back and Humber is pitching well. It is for his benefit -

This strike zone is tight obviously hope the Sox make this favor them. -

Remember in 2004 when he gave up something like 10 runs in the first..... He really looks to have nothing left. With this offense you can send this one to Copperstown. -

QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Apr 27, 2011 -> 06:17 PM) That strike three call was BULLs***. If it is consistent then fine. I think umpires can be intimidated by the Yankees -

QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Apr 27, 2011 -> 06:05 PM) still no fans showing up for tribe games. amazing. Team performance in April is not going to draw fans especially on weekdays the weather is too unpredictable. Casual fans plan ahead to go and April and early May is too dicy. You rely on walk-ups. They are also playing the Royals who nobody is planning to go see. The ticket sales in the early part of the season I would bet are 95% season ticket sales. -

The Yanks seem to pound the bejesus out of Buehrle. I would say the Sox should hit Colon but come on Nova and Penny just had their best starts in their career at least Nova did. This is why they play the game. -

Would have been nice to win but the better team clearly won. Cory Crawford almost won that game and if it wasn't for a another horses*** give away, he may have. -

Stahlberg should not be on that first line and the Hawks seem to be changing lines every 30 seconds. -

QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 26, 2011 -> 09:30 PM) Oz gets no credit for this win? He managed very very well in a game the offense stunk again. By the way, yes the Yankees bunted in the ninth inning as Oz also woulda done. People think Oz is so different. It called for a bunt so NY bunted. He bunted to get to Tex and A ROD not Omar and Pierre. -

Vancouver has to be aggressive and force the action like they did in third period and OT of game six. I still think Lou is hurt. Seabrook is looking like John Scott again. -
They still need to hit he f'ing ball.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 26, 2011 -> 09:14 PM) Good call. We lose this game and last nights game with Milledge on the roster instead of Lillibridge. I thought Milledge could catch a fly ball it is not really that hard to do.
