QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Apr 17, 2011 -> 03:57 PM) Forgive my ignorance, but what were the options off the bench there? Teahen If he is not hitting there release him for another bullpen arm. -

QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Apr 17, 2011 -> 03:51 PM) I wanted Teahen to pinch hit but nooo God forbid Oz ever PH for Pierre . Hell as shallow as they play him not sure even with 2 outs if the tying run scores from 2nd on a hit. Exactly but at least Crain got his work in -

QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 17, 2011 -> 03:47 PM) Well, that was pathetic by Alexei. I doubt Omar can catch up to the fastball. Probably rather see Teahen here. No real need for Teahen to be on this team if he is not hitting here. -

I thought they would walk Alexi. -

QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 17, 2011 -> 03:42 PM) Huh? Never said it was bad to get him an inning today. To make him unavailable tomorrow for a game you are losing is a bad decision. -

QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 17, 2011 -> 03:33 PM) If you're talking about the Felix thread, I was being sarcastic. However, he's notorious for being a bad situational hitter. Why is Jesse Crain being used as the mop up on this team? Guillen seems like he was unprepared and thus so was his team for the season again. -

QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 17, 2011 -> 03:29 PM) Well, Dunn's honeymoon lasted 3 weeks. Fans booing him after another strikeout. 14 K's in 33 at-bats you pegged it other day when you pointed out it seems he can hit when the situation dictates nothing he can do can do any real damage. -

This offense will only go as far as two of Beckham, Rios and Quentin will take them and right now none of three are doing anything. Beckham now under .250 -

I really wonder if Kane is a scapegoat in all of this and moved for salary reasons. -
QUOTE (bucket-of-suck @ Apr 15, 2011 -> 07:34 PM) The Twins blow this season. Time for Sox fans to quit sucking at the Twins teet. The reason the Twins win the division is because they kick the s*** out of the White Sox, it is that simple. Will it happen this year? Who knows, they do not play until the second half of the season.

QUOTE (Marty34 @ Apr 15, 2011 -> 11:00 PM) Konerko, Pierre throw Dunn in there too. Worst thing that happened to the Sox was giving KW an open checkbook. Hudson for sure, and more than likely Gonzalez would still be here. Danks Floyd Gonzalez Hudson Buehrle Thornton and Richard in the bullpen, Sale starting in B'Ham. You can't drop the bad and keep the good. A DFA'd McCarthy no way he sticks after last year Danks and Floyd are not here. The rotation would be Buerhle Gonzalez Hudson Richard ??????? Not sure we are all too excited about that.

White Sox vs. Los Angeles Angels 4/15, 7:10 PM CT. CSN

This team is epically baseball stupid from the manager down. I was out there last night and Humber and Gray somehow kept them in the game. They gave up two outs with bunts and the Quentin AB was pathetic but then again so has Rios. -
QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 12, 2011 -> 10:45 PM) Where was Balfour? Isn't he the closer?
-
QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 12, 2011 -> 10:44 PM) That fan made a hell of a catch on that homer. And Adam Dunn, get the hell away from that pile. Fell on some blond chick as well.

Does anyone ever look to have more fun hitting home runs than Alexi.
-
YOu over swinging muther you!!!!!!!
-
It is amazing how the White Sox make easy outs in extra innings and over swing.
-
Take two.
-
Here come the swinging from the heels and topping off speed pitches. Better hope for a hanger.
-
Here comesthe extra base hit after he two out walk. The twins beat s*** teams I f***ing hate tony pena
-
How do the A's ever lose with that bullpen. 1 run in 10+ innings in this series thus far. Konerko and Quentin 0-9. Blevins threw less pitches in 2.1 innings than horses*** pena threw in one.

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Apr 12, 2011 -> 10:11 PM) I expected a lot more than this. This is really the worst attendance Ive ever seen and its on the heels of the Sox spending a ton of money. Ive gone to a ton of April games, and this year its just way worse (so far). I dont know, its just seems a lot worse (maybe statistics would say otherwise). I have been to four games already and it is no worse than any other year. There are people in the upperdeck. There never was before.
-
QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Apr 12, 2011 -> 10:10 PM) Im not blaming anyone, I dont know why the Sox dont draw. Hawks draw, Bears draw, Bulls draw, Cubs draw. It just annoys me as a Sox fan obviously. cub opening day was not sold out two days before the game and there are plenty of empty seats every game.

Should PH Morel.
