  1. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 7, 2011 -> 09:00 AM) I know that a lot of the Dells got destroyed by the flood a couple years back, is that pretty much repaired and back to normal now? Yes The Kalahari (sp?) is bigger and one place but he Wilderness is more spread out and seems less crowded both are better than the rest. The Great Wolf is nice but it is smaller. We stay at he Wilderness and never leave. The cabins are awesome. Price is a major tipping point.
  2. I think the weather will play a part as they may not want him to pitch in the cold. Remember his first start last year 38 degrees and raining.
  3. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Mar 4, 2011 -> 02:36 PM) What is the best way to remove semen from a keyboard? ask the girl in the cube next to you to lick it off
  4. QUOTE (ptatc @ Mar 4, 2011 -> 02:30 PM) Wow, I surprised at this. It will be interesting to see how long he can go at that speed. What the hell do you know.
  5. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Mar 4, 2011 -> 10:32 AM) Got mine last night. Awesomeness. I like the new look of the tix too. Me too. I have Club Seats and the LG on them makes we think I need to get an LG tv. Life's Good.
  6. QUOTE (flavum @ Mar 3, 2011 -> 03:42 PM) Ranger should be doing these games instead of Trey Bender. And Ventura is a good call, but I'd rather hear Rongey do them solo, and bring in guests throughout the game like Charley Steiner does on the Dodgers side. You guys assume Melton is being paid and the others will work for what he makes.
  7. Silva and Ramirez schuffled. 3 errors and 2 3 run homers in teh first.
  8. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Mar 2, 2011 -> 03:38 PM) Worst trade ever, bring back Linebrink!!! You know he will have a positive impact with the Braves
  9. it is a valid question. None of the guys ahead of him are guaranted jobs except Teahen and that is only becasue of his contract. The problem is who gets moved? If he could play the OF, with his injury history, he can not, there is no room for him.
  10. I am at work and can't watch on the internet. Can we get a little play by play of anything other than the berating of Bill Melton.
  11. Come on the guy is old and doing internet broadcasts give him a break. He is a good guy to have a drink with as well.
  12. Stan on the SCORE this morning and I thought I heard him say the new D man was going to help on the penalty kill...I was only half listening though
  13. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Mar 1, 2011 -> 08:53 AM) 'Melo better than Lebron? Really? Yes it was almost comical. The fact Melo makes no players better while LeBron's Cavs went from league best to one of the worst ever kind of answers that question. ESPN really is just a soap opera.
  14. I saw nothing on this game but it seems to be a moral victory coming back from 6-1. Last year's squad would have lost 6-2.
  15. I have not seen one Sox player defend Jenks. It has been pointed out often that the Sox were covering for Jenks often and Guillen backed him 100% to a fault. Maybe he cleans up his act maybe he doesn't but he really has no room to criticize the Sox they gave him plenty of opportunities and he got $12M now STFU.
  16. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Feb 24, 2011 -> 02:07 PM) Far NW and SW sides tend to be heavily populated by cops and firefigthers and paramedics, who all endorsed Chico because Chico looked like the candidate least likely to do anything about pensions. SE side, I have no idea why that was so heavily Chico. Hegewisch and the SE side is heavy city worker as well. According to that map Rahm won Mt. Greenwood.
  17. QUOTE (PlaySumFnJurny @ Feb 24, 2011 -> 10:39 PM) Here's a new holy grail for you: Its from the 1930's. I think I've seen it at Grandstand. I bought that hat in 2005 and wore it through the end of hte season. At the Boston playoff game many people thought it was a Red Sox hat. After the World Series I went out and bought every hat I could get I have almost the same collection. The guy at Grandstand told me that the White Sox never actually wore that hat that it was more of a logo used in the 30's. Still a great hat as well as the 20's road hat.
  18. QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Feb 23, 2011 -> 10:38 AM) The NBA should contract any and all teams in non-major markets. The inmates have spoken and won. This is where the players are kind of f***ing themselves though as the owners will be forced into hard cap.
  19. An Alex Rios with an attitude sounds good to me.
  20. He thinks Kenny is still looking to get a piece...I was assuming he meant a piece for the baseball team...a #5 guy
  21. 60 degrees today in Chicago and the Chuckmeister is reporting from AZ where the pitchers and catchers have reported. f*** ya.
  22. Any team that gives him 10yr/$30M will regret it after the first three years of the deal. There are questions of age, heath and PED's here. He would have to go to an AL team to DH at the end of the deal.
  23. I understand the fan thing and what not but Karl Ravech was on Mike and Mike this morning and they were talking about the Cardinals and The NL Central. He thought the Cardinals had the best team but went on about the following; The cubs should be better and give them more compition talked about Pena and Garza, the Reds will be right there and the Astros you never know about.......ok, the Brewers on paper are the deepest team in that division......yet he felt the need to talk about the cub more than any other team in that division.
