Sometimes the goalie needs to make a stop. Huet can not do this. I still believe they will be bounced in the first as there is no way this situation does not weigh on the whole team. -

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 5, 2010 -> 03:43 PM) Yeah, i didnt even think of it that way. Good point that Im sure the papers wont pick up on. All of this money is because there is no first round pick. JA does not like spending money on the draft, that is why he drafts guys that will sign......excpet Cedric Benson. JA flat out does not believe in the high draft pick money which is why they could get Peppers as oppossed to whoever may or may not pan out with the pick they could have had. -
QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Mar 5, 2010 -> 09:48 AM) Most of the time I can trace where a dream originated in my conscious. This one had it's origins in a recent episode of Ellen. We were over at my parents list night and my sister was watching a DVRed Ellen and she made a joke about the smoke monster being the next bachelor. In my dream, the smoke monster transformed into the giant statue and started walking around. Your sister DVR's Ellen.........

With a good pass rush the corners and safties are not asked to do what they have been asked in previous years. Alex Brown as the left end could be huge and Mark Anderson is now the swing guy. A Tommy Harris ressurrection and Urlacher comeback put the defense in the top five. My hopes were high last year too.... -

A former DT was on WSCR this morning and had an interesting take on Peppers who he played with. He agreed Peppers goes at 80% too often but his 80% is better than 95% of most guys 100%. He said that Peppers is athletically better than everyone and that he wants to come to a big stage and do what he does, rush the passer and the Bears 4-3 offers that as NE and Phil drop guys into coverage and are running odd things. He also said that he believes Peppers is still maturing and will be better with his new team. Pretty good stuff. The TE thing gets me. They better get a numebr 2 for Olsen. -
QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Mar 4, 2010 -> 03:27 PM) I realize that the Cubs made a lot of mistakes with Bradley, but... Sorry Milton, this is 90% on you. Why? On the field he did what he does......off of the field the same thing. The cubs brought him in to be a power leftie bat and he is not that. He is an OBP guy. He is not a home run and RBI guy. His OBP was what you would expect it to be. The cubs billed him as a winner.....he has never won. He took the money but they could not make him something he is not. That is on the cubs. It would be like saying Mark Teahan is the guy that is going to produce a ton of power and RBI and bring a history of winning to the southside......then if this does not happen the minion get all upiddy and crucify the guy.

QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Mar 4, 2010 -> 05:07 PM) So I'm adding Sports Package to my Comcast Bundle that includes MLB NETWORK and a whole bunch of different sports channels, only 7.99, how come I didn't know about this before. MLB Network rocks you almost do not need the Extra innigns package with their cut-ins. -
I simply can not get my head around this season. The free will thing I can not grasp and the swath of destruction is in no way shape or form a good guy. Follow me or die is not the rationale of good and hence no matter what, I do not think Lockness/MIB can be good. Jacob.......not sure about....there seems to be a good amount of death involved there but there always seem to be a rationale reasoning. So now when Hurley and Jack come back they are going to run into Illana, Lapadius, Sun, etc....by the way, where and the hell did they come from. Sayid I can not figure out and I love miles. The alt timeline I like as it seems to be building to something or going somewhere wher the island thing is runnign around in circles. Jin in the cooler rocked.

As deep as this draft sounds..one of the best ever.....now would be the time to move guys G-Reg one ofthem. A TE that can not block is not a TE. -

At this rate a hot goaltender will knock them out in round one. -
Gavin Floyd was getting too far out on his front foot. Don Cooper corrected this and if it were not the case Gavin Floyd would be out of baseball. Per Don Cooper from Coop at the Cork.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 2, 2010 -> 02:09 PM) Being a Sox fan, I will never think that way. We led ourselves to believe the samething after 2000 and 2005. It might not be true, but you never know. I agree with you but the olympics kind of showed me that these guys are really good not cub promo good or White Sox if everything goes right good. Hockey players seem to keep their talent if they stay healthy and it is more predictable than baseball or football. -
Some people are now creating things to be down on the Sox about. FIRE COOPER Nick Masset is flourishing in Cinncinati!!! Sweet jesus.

If Beckham is involved Heath Bell better be included This is a tough one.

The olympics were great and loved the story of the driver of the 4 man bobsled almost going blind and the Gander island story. The ratings were through the roof which is good. I could see why somebody would be happy for Canada as they love hockey but I was still rooting for the good ole USA. -

Eagles and Pats also looking at Peppers.....I do not see the Bears winning here. Thomas Jones to be released and Terrell Owens to not be offered a contract. Think they could high picks for Forte and Hester.......... -

I'll take Bosh and Rose and will then forget about Aldridge. If they had Aldridge they would have to makethe Tyrus decision...... May work out better this way in actuality. -
Guillen said yesterday that he would be with the Sox as long as Reinsdorf is the owner. The line of questioning had to do with Reinsdorf more with Guillen's appreciation for Reinsdorf than retiring or anything. It would be interesting to see how much money Guillen has made as a player and how much as a manager.

Deng is getting a little to old to still be feeling his way around the game. They talked to him after the game and his comments are just nonsense. I do not think the guy will ever really get it on a consistent basis. -

All ofthe bruhaha about the US Canada game from Sunday is now meaningless as they will most likely meet again this Sunday. I hope Ryan Miller is ready to go and the US figures out how to get the power play going. Not sure if it is good or bad that all of Hawks are still in this thing. -

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Feb 24, 2010 -> 08:06 PM) Wow that "sending skiiers down the slope rapidly because of the conditions" really screwed over Mancuso. I am not a ski expert but maybe Vonn needs to get skis that will allow her to finish. -

QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 23, 2010 -> 10:16 PM) Maybe. I doubt it will have that connection on the show. I remember hearing that Rousseu will be making appearance in Alt timeline. David's mom? Just a guess. Her name is in the credits so she is most likely back in some capacity.

QUOTE (Reddy @ Feb 23, 2010 -> 10:10 PM) ... it is. global warming is a misused phrase, what we're really dealing with is climate change - a shift in weather patterns. Global warming will result in an ice age yet nobody actually talks about this.
