By going 7-21 they lost the ability to give away games, yet here we are. Sitting Anderson is assinine. Why can't they just be normal.

The funny thing is that it's so obvious what this team has missed and it's what Ozzie talked about on the AJ podcast and that's a leader. Maybe it's Andrus maybe it's Billy I am not certain what it is but this organization needs less silent leaders and more vocal. I love WST shitting on the White Sox home run get up. That was produced by Elvis. If Elvis ever homers they need to make him where an Elvis wig and glasses. That aspect is supposed to be goofy and yes the organized crime that it portrays isn't the best but it's a part to the team and city (Black Sox scandal).

If he doesn't miss a game and averages his current 1 hit per game pace he will get there at the All-star break in 2040. White Sox should have a new owner by then.
-
He's basically Benentendi at this point with a lower baseball IQ
-
He was being conservative which is fine if you have MLB hitters up. He relied upon Haseley and Alberto. With those two a gamble with Robert there shouldn't have been viewed as risky. Especially with Hamilton on base. Grifol has way too much faith in Alberto. Hamilton is a great base runner use that to your advantage.

The odd thing about that forum is that Rachel Nichols is a pretty good get as is Reisndorf. The other three don't seem to have the tenure to be on a panel with him. It's such an odd thing from a guy that has pretty much been MIA for the last ten years it seems.

He ain't learning a whole new staff.
-
I should say his estate is selling.
-
He is selling to whomever gives him the most money. That is the only important thing.

He left the starter in longer then I felt as well and gave up the lead to grandal.

2023: MLB news not AL Central-related
Harry Chappas replied to caulfield12's topic in The Diamond Club
I really wonder what would have happened had Jerry had gone to Tampa. This is kind of the same situation. -
The issue is that the history changes. You had one team playoffs when the Sox lost to the Yankees because they were the Yankees, the A's of the early 90's then the Indians of the late 90'skept them out. The expanded playoffs and three divisions are more modern. We also have the new schedule this year. This all creates havoc and makes comparatives difficult. The crappy division has been crappy for many years and the White Sox have not taken advantage of it. I have zero faith in this organization doing anything to gain success but .500 may certainly win this division. The Twins just lost two starting pitchers for a pretty long time and Correa and Buxton are as big an injury risk as any Sox player.

Cash tried to give that game away all day. It's a huge win......survive the next two weeks and hopefully Crochet and Hendricks and be back. Romy and Sosa go down for Anderson and Hanser.
-
Well now we get a weak Sosa AB to end it.
-
Makes it even worse.
-
So let me get this straight. Sheets is out so Robert could hit.... then Robert is replaced as runner and defense for Romy..... Romy shits the bed in LF to baby Robert.....now in the 9th we get a Romy AB....SMMFH
-
Every ball Bummer throws is either down the middle or nowhere close to a strike.
-
How long he going to leave Bummer out there?
-
Not one pitch was close
-
Posted earlier but the fact Romy and Sosa are deemed better then the flyer Koleck offered says enough to me. Romy is fucking abysmal.
-
Cash left guy in to die and these fools do nothing.
-
Both things can be true.
-
A real organization has Burger, Halsley, Sheets, Colas, and Sosa in AAA
-
Needs to go back down. It's too bad their 40 man was too deep to find a spot for Kolek he couldn't be any worse than Romy or Sosa.
-
They are an unathletic team that should be somewhat more athletic. Any effort causes an injury.
