  1. If you are going to play Wise, and I do not think they should. Put him in CF, Quentin in RF and Podsednik in LF...........ah forget it, Kotsay should be right over Wise.... This team really is making it hard to care. I do not care how bad Dye and Rios are playing they should both be in over Wise. You have the pitcher hitting today though so Kotsay's bat could be more useful off the bench than Wise.
  2. MOST PLAYERS WORTH A s*** IN ANY SPORT PLAY BETTER AT HOME!!!!!! I LIKE BEING IN MY HOUSE BETTER THAN THE DOUCHE'S DOWN THE BLOCK!!!!!! THIS IS NOT THE CASE WITH NICK SWISHER. ALSO THERE ARE MORE HOME RUNS HIT AT THE CELL BECAUSE THE SOX ARE A POWER TEAM AND THEY PLAY HALF OF THEIR GAMES THERE. Sorry for the caps, carry on.
  3. I thought I would point out as we need to make threads about every traded player, that in a huge game for the Braves who are in the wildcard race, Vazquez s*** the bed against the Fish who are right behind them. If we could only have the 5 tool Chris Young back.
  4. I watched on the computer and listened on the radio until the bottom of the eighth and just got back in, all I'll I say is........Son of a b****
  5. The Boston fans at the cell will outnumber the Sox fans.....they will all be booing this team.
  6. When you are not hitting pitchers goright at the hitter thus they are 0-2....... Duensing gave him 7 pitches to hit......
  7. I wonder if this team can hit in bp. 4 90 MPH fastballs down the middle and Dye can't hit them....
  8. Throw six pitches all to the same spot.... Kubel and Cuddyear would be the best hitters on the White Sox. I did not realize they were both having that good of years. Throw in Moreanu, Spahn and Mauer and they have six hitters better than any White Sox hitter.
  9. Here comes the big inning we have not seen in over a month...
  10. Farmer talks about how Walker preaches contact and going the other way and nobody does it. There is a disconnect there somewhere and ozzie needs to solve it.
  11. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Sep 2, 2009 -> 12:44 PM) for the love of god - the law of averages says we have to start hitting at some point I wonder if ozzie ever gets held accountable for this lack of effort.
  12. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Sep 2, 2009 -> 12:41 PM) or you could just say yes or no YES!
  13. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Sep 2, 2009 -> 12:34 PM) shut him down because he's lazy in the off season and doesn't work out, which leads to fatigue in the second half? Just my speculation... It is possibe but I think the perfect game and getting Peavy who makes more money could be the issue as well. Maybe Buerhle and Dye are not as passive and easy going as we think. Buehrle was a good reason this year, 2006 and 2003 did not end on a higher note.
  14. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Sep 2, 2009 -> 12:35 PM) wow, i didn't know that. His back again? Go to the thread in Diamond Club
  15. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Sep 2, 2009 -> 12:33 PM) have we even seen crede this series? DL and possible career over.
  16. They oughts shut Buerhle down for the rest of the year although not getting a win after the perfect game would not be a nice start to the offseason.
  17. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Sep 2, 2009 -> 12:31 PM) Baseball 101 The White Sox could use this book.
  18. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Sep 2, 2009 -> 12:26 PM) who do you like for our ace going foward? If Peavy pitches to his history, Floyd and Danks progress Buerhle is the best number 4 in baseball. This is not a slam on Buerhle.
  19. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Sep 2, 2009 -> 12:25 PM) not run tentatively There is a difference in a straight steal and a hit and run. The hit and run you are looking into the batter as he is suppossed to swing and the runner is to pick the ball up. There is also the late break to not get picked off on.
