  1. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 8, 2009 -> 03:11 PM) Expect reactions like you have been getting for the exact same reason. Nice outing by Galaraga. He could have folded early, but manned up and threw something close to 120 pitches. Sox inability is more like it. Any patience from the three pitchers at the bottom of the order and he only goes 6.
  2. The pitcher is at 118 pitches and the Sox are giving away outs......
  3. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jun 8, 2009 -> 03:07 PM) You panicky guys are hilarious. He's been getting better and better for weeks, but one AB and he deserves to be benched? Seriously? LOL Why are guys continuiosly asked to do things thay are not capable of?
  4. I get berated on this site for asking Beckham to bunt last Thursday during a shutout yet Ramirez who has pop is asked to bunt unsuccessfully time and again. The stupidity of this team is almost surreal.
  5. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 8, 2009 -> 03:04 PM) No, he's really not. We need Pods in CF ASAP, and put Anderson on the bench and DFA Wise. When Quentin comes back sure but until then that is the best there is unless Lillibridge came back up. I'll take Danks over Anderson or Wise, he can not be any worse.
  6. QUOTE (TitoMB345 @ Jun 8, 2009 -> 03:02 PM) That was a hell of a call. This ump is really bad. What'd he do?
  7. QUOTE (kane0730 @ Jun 8, 2009 -> 02:55 PM) Just play BA. Both are terrible with the bat, and practially automatic outs. But at least BA has a better glove. A healthy CQ is really what this team needs. BA is fine if he bats 9th which he would have in this game. Would Anderson have had a shot at the runner that tagged from third on the sac fly?
  8. The real sad thing about Wise is these are his career numbers. I really need to begin to question the decision making of the White Sox if they are that ignorant in regard to the talent of D'Wayne Wise.
  9. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 8, 2009 -> 02:43 PM) Well that was quick DJ. It is amazing how much better he is in a blow out versus a close game. At some point a starter getting through 6 or 7 innings would be nice.
  10. I would like to blame this on Carraso but he has pitched too well this year.
  11. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jun 8, 2009 -> 02:38 PM) The Sox are hitting .350 today. 5-9 are 1 for 10 1-4 are 6 for 10 Explains everything right there. The Ramirez DP is the killer. Sardines has two sacrifices why can't out .200 and below hitters have productive outs. Jordan Danks could be no worse than D'Wayne Wise
  12. How did Detroit not bring up Dolci for this series alone
  13. Josh Fields needs to get the job done there. He fits right in with the low baseball I.Q. that is the White Sox.
  14. The averages of the RBI guys with RISP is good except for AJ who is at .194. Anderson is at .233 I thought it would be lower. I might have been looking athte wrong thing. We have two of these to get through today. This sucks.
  15. I am tuning in and out on the radio and keeping up with gametrack Is the umpire calling anything close a strike? The pitches to Thames were all in the zone.
  16. QUOTE (TitoMB345 @ Jun 8, 2009 -> 01:50 PM) Alexei >>>> Uribe. Defensively.......not even close uribe catches the pop up yesterday that Ramirez never moved for
  17. I hope the approach to holding runners on or changing the stretch used by pitchers is worked on next spring.
  18. I'd rather have a consistent SS than one that is lackadasical.
  19. 8 pitch inning there...I stick by 60 through 6. All you need to do to this team is throw down and in have some fun.
  20. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 8, 2009 -> 01:41 PM) AJP has sucked, absolutely sucked, with his pitch calling this season. His average is good but other than that he seems to be nonexistant this season except for the stupid left handed commercial. Nothing is going right this year.
