  1. Torre showing how to manage with the base open. Crede DP to 3B or pop to 2B sounds about par for the course.
  2. Another note in cub game Burres in after being scatched yesterday. Also Lee, Ramirez and Soto out. This was what happened in the Rockie game. Patience gentlemen
  3. I keep turning the radio off after Danks gets in trouble and I watch the Gameday MLB diamond while watching the cubs and Tigers on Gameday. Tigers won in 10. Note on the cub game Liz (Pitcher) & Cintron 0-8 Rest of Orioles 13-23 Neither team been able to capitalize on opportunities in Sox game. Kershaw only at 69 pitches. Guillen should have done what Torre just did last Saturday.
  4. QUOTE (Jenks Heat @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 03:18 PM) Farmer and Stone thought so. I was refering to the Hall single on the bunt no.
  5. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 03:16 PM) Could Ramirez have scored? Farmer and Stone thought so.
  6. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 03:15 PM) Can someone explain what happened with the Danks AB? Bunted to move Hall over. Every infielder knew it as they were all charging. Danks didn't run, thought it was foul, the catcher threw to 2B and then to 1B.
  7. Why not just have the pitcher stand there and take three strikes to at least get the pitch count up or swing for anything.
  8. Farmer thinks bad call by Cox not sending him Hall needs more at-bats Butcher Boy.
  9. Pujols is back? When did that happen, I thought he was out until the ASB. He was 4-4 today with a walk. That NL Central is looking really tough......Sheffield homered to tie it up.
  10. QUOTE (joesaiditstrue @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 03:00 PM) i disagree with the official scoring there, yeah OC has been given a lot of breaks this year but i don't think he should be penalized for a non-error radio guys saying it wasn't that tough of a play.
  11. Sweet Lou pitching to the #8 hitter with first base open cost him 8-0 Orioles Come on Cabrera....call the press box.
  12. QUOTE (Jenks Heat @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 02:56 PM) Crede needs to do something here. or not Has he hit a ball out of the infield in his last 4 games? Paulie Jr. with the feeble groundouts to third and K's........
  13. Cards have left 10 men on and have scored 1 run. Come on Swish
  14. I am an Anderson fan but there is no way he can stay and Wise can go as Wise may not clear waivers and Anderson could use the AB's. Quentin yah 2-0
  15. Ramirez, yes. Farmer trying to tell jokes while the play is going on.... 1-0 nice job Juan Pierre's arm that's a a joke all to itself
  16. QUOTE (kane0730 @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 02:23 PM) Well, this game could be over in a hurry. At least his ERA will not impacted.... Nice inning but unless something happens the stolen bases are going to cost this team Jason Marquis and Eric Patterson coming back down to earth
  17. QUOTE (Jenks Heat @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 02:20 PM) At some point this team needs to learn to hold runners on or throw a runner out......really sad. really really sad
  18. Error and Walk....... 1st and 2nd nobody out deja vu all over again.
  19. At some point this team needs to learn to hold runners on or throw a runner out......really sad.
  20. Ah Pierre with a hit to become a triple due to Crede who is actually wearing the gold glove.
  21. Gave Kershaw the opportunity to be wild and get a good look at him........ Cabrera 3 pitches Anderson 1 pitch Quentin 2 pitches Defense looking good already. How does this team struggle with pop-ups christ.
  22. QUOTE (JorgeFabregas @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 02:03 PM) New Gameday is trippy. Gameday is terrible it updates every 5 minutes it seems.
  23. Anyone think Guillen is giving Anderson a shot a doing something before possibly being sent down? A-lot easier to hit in front of Quentin than the pitcher. Also Wise will get the next two starts and then I believe Konerko can come off the DL Sunday against Mashall no? I think it is a mirror performance to last night as the bats were cold for a nice spell Tuesday and I think they will today as well against a leftie they have never faced. His ability and past history is no indication to what he is capable of....see last night. 6-1 Dodgers
