Does Juliete seem to fall in love with everyone except Ben? Kemney is dead for sure. The funny thing though is what happens now to the island? The Others and the Losties should all come together under Locke so what is the deal? It is almost going to have to turn into a differnet show. I was holding out hope to the end that the Sci-Fi thing wouldn't come about, oh well. Other than Sun, the alst day on the island wasn't as bad as it was out to be. When Kate was talking about it, I thought it would be much worse. I guess the island disappearing was freaky though.

It was a weeknight while school is going on. Nobody knew what that team would be now and there can still be doubt. Now if they draw 13K over the weekend that is bad but the Sox were not a road draw at the beginning of the season as well. And I agree Sox fans can not berate anyone in regard to attendance.

What are you hoping for in the Rays series?

The record is what it is. Playing on the road is tough so I hope for 2-2 but could live with 1-3. These are more important than winning in order; Buerhle - a nice start is big Swisher - he needsto show is is worht something, anything Thome - he needs to hit RHP Konerko - needsto show if he can carry on or hit the DL Consistency on offense - no 3 hit or completely shut down nights Nothing stupid that costs a game, you know that wacky s*** that happens to the White Sox when they play fast, young teams on turf or mirror the first inning yesterday. -
I do not know what it is but teams seem to forget how to hit when they play the cubs. Teams just have terrible AB after terrible AB.

Know what I noticed that is cool about Ramirez. Watch how he catches groundballs. Uses two hands and gets down. Very fluid.

QUOTE (joesaiditstrue @ May 28, 2008 -> 02:12 PM) tinfoil hat time cubs haven't won a world series in 100 years so far, they've played the pirates an unbelievable amount of times also, their schedule mysteriously blanked the red sox and the yankees this year we've played a pretty difficult schedule, not based on SOS but due to how many friggin roadgames we've had to play IMO we've passed the hard part of our 2008 schedule, or at least a hefty chunk of the hard part On Monday morning, 20% of the remaining schedule will be against the Royals and the Pirates.

QUOTE (kyyle23 @ May 28, 2008 -> 02:59 PM) Didnt the Sox lose 2 out of 3 to open the season at the Jake? Yep, lost the first two and won the third I believe and 2 of 3 this series = 3-1, no?

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 28, 2008 -> 06:46 AM) The thing that bugs me about Ramirez is that he really seems to have a low baseball IQ. I disagree I think he has a high baseball IQ, the slide today was a good midplay adjustment and the 12th inning hit seemed to be a recognition thing based on the pitch and the player movement. I think he is still getting acclimated to the MLB way of things and will only get better. He has laid down a couple of good sac bunts so I believe he got a pitch he could hit and adjusted nicely as oppossed to the players who can not lay down a bunt and lack basic fundamental skills and the abiltiy to adjust their thought process. Forgetting the number of outs was dumb but that happens. Swinging from your heels on a hit and run is dumb and hopefull he'll learn. He got a high fastball and pulled the trigger, nothing he could do there.

QUOTE (elrockinMT @ May 28, 2008 -> 01:57 PM) Bobby jenks should get this save, but an extra run would be nice. It seems Jenks has this irritating thing about him where he gives up little bleeders, broken bat geese snorts and the such. It just makes the blood pressure rise and the tummy acid to burn. The first two hits Monday were shots back up the middle. -
