  1. That was the trade I thought would happen with the Texans and then the Colts.
  2. I really, really need to stop listening to the SCORE. Mully and Haugh are now just becoming contrarian in their analysis of sports to gain a rise out of the audience. They could not rationalize that Poles isn't going to over pay for flawed talent. There were no legitimate DL or OL that were sure fire solutions to improve the team and he was not going to over spend. They need to let he scheme work on defense and spend on offense. Let the offseason play out. He is not spending on older players and I have no beef with that.
  3. The Red Sox, Yankees and Fox Sports made this all necessary. Funny now that Theo is trying to fix it.
  4. Still worth it at $9. Here is going to be the issue. The beer is draft and as such you can't get from the vendor. Curtails the Miller Lite, dog and pizza for $15...that'll play. Consolidating tailgating makes sense due to the clean up.
  5. That's what the Bears need to determine. He may end up better than Brown and will certainly be incredibly cheaper for the next 4 years. He should show growth going into next season. Brown is what he is and the Chiefs passed on him.
  6. They should have moved his pro day then. What was the hurry.
  7. Watch from the 29 to 32 minute mark of Part Two. Seems to ring true from 20-22 as well.
  8. Maybe I took it out of context. I didn't really see a need for the story so I may have been jaded from the minute I opened it.
  9. Great column.....except for the fact not a single team in baseball wanted him in the spring of 2021....except the White Sox. The Sox gave him a break by not giving him the QO and he's bitter?????? I liked him and always defended him but he sounds like an asshole in that story.
  10. Last year ended the I told you so. He should have gotten the QO and pitched for the Sox last year and left via free agency. I hope he does well but was not worth the risk to the White Sox for the deal he got.
  11. He may believe that Coals not coming up last year was a crime and there was a conspiracy as to why he was not.
  12. Why do I fear that this experience will somehow be positive for every player in the WBC except for Robert and Moncada.
  13. Not sure about the driving part but he wasn't missing may post game nights out in the west loop
  14. Can't that be said of every AL Central team and 90% of MLB?
  15. So Tony should have been relieved of his duties much sooner then he was and Anderson and Abreu proved to not be leaders in the clubhouse. How does the organization let that play out until late in the season. Sounds like JR's hiring of Tony may actually have taken years off Tony's life.
  16. I'm moving to You Tube TV just so I do not have to pay for Marquee.
  17. First 15 Outfield upper deck rows were amazing. Really any seat in front of the poles were good. Wrigley's lower deck, I only bring this up as it is comparable, is too sprawling. IF you sit toward the back in the lower deck, it really sucks. Maybe Comiskey was the same and I was much younger and less angry but sitting in the back rows in the lower deck weren't too bad even down the lines.
  18. I do not know what it is but I went from a malaise or indifference to having my interest piquing for this team more and more each day.
  19. This show is really good and I mean really really good. Some really good tv again....seemed down for the last couple years.
  20. My point was to the original poster that what appears to be a team driving away players they seem to come back to the organization. Abreu left and maybe we will never seem him again but we may. I'm not exactly sure I agree with your union busting idea but I can assure you JR is not happy with the last major contract he handed out (albeit through the Bulls).
  21. If these guys were all "run off" they seemed ok with it. For an organization that is deemed to treat their players like garbage they seem to have a relationship with them if they desire after their playing days. Harold Baines and Frank Thomas could be the top of this list and JR somehow got Baines into the HOF. Now that I think of it maybe that was how LaRussa got the managerial job
  22. And almost all are working for the white sox or living out of the spotlight
  23. I kind of think his velocity will tick up after a couple spring innings.
