In an effort to continue to belabor this point, I am not seeing a hitter that has everything that is needed to be a number two hitter. He does nothing special and actually has had a bad appraoch at the plate. He appears to be a shell of the player they thought they were getting. The lack of prodcution by the offense is really sad. 4 runs in 16 innings. Gomez bunt hit and will be stealing. Wasserman injured his leg to add insult to injury.

Blackburn is not going to give Swisher a pitch to hit.

I am not speaking for anyone that is negative but the fact that this team was focusing not giving up at-bats this year and they appear to be not only giving away at-bats but giving away entire games (5 of them thus farthis year).
