Gameday has an injury delay at the start of the cub any idea what that is about. Jason Marquis is not a good pitcher yet teams can not hit him consistently and he has a perfect game going. Anywho, the offense for the White Sox is pathetic, like that's news but I agree that any arms that may be on this team next season and are on the 40 man should be up here now. Guys like Masset and Sisco know they sucked and the promotion has nothing to do with them be awarded anything. This sounds a little like cutting off your nose to spite your face. Garland, Buerhle, and Vazquez should be shut down. Konerko, Thome and AJ should play every other day or against teams still in it. Jenks should also be shut down although he needs some stat padding. They need to find out who can do what because the judgement calls they make as an organization are not that good.

The fundamentals area has done more to attract younger fans than anything INCLUDING WINNING THE WORLD SERIES. I am a pretty sentimental person but to compare 2007 Comiskey Park to 1994 is as disillusional as possible. Although I think Wrigley is a dump and terrible place to watch a game for over 75% of the fans so what do I know.

If this team was trying to win now Erstad and Podsednik would play every day and Fields would be at third, Iguchi at second and Mackowiak on the bench. The fact that this not happening shows this is a try out for next year. Why Guillen is ranting about it is the question. The have him for this and next year. Sounds like they have to pick up his option.

I am not sure what that means but minor league pitching for positional players ala the Indians last season will be the M.O. and having pitching in the minors in this day and age is much better than positional players and I think this is the stength that Sox fans miss. The back end of the pen, core rotation and run producers are there, they need to fill in the pieces. Why Thome, Konerko, Buerhle and Garland are still hanging around is beyond me they should be kicking back for next season. Our September rotation should be Floyd, Haegar, Masset, Sisco and one anyone else that needs to be on the 40 man.

Ned Yost is choking more than anyone. He should have gotten himself tossed in the 7th or 9th as the strike zone sucked. Braun swung at ball 1 and ball 2. My assumption on Jenkins in the 9th was Eyre may have come in. Ned Yost is really bad at managing when it counts. If Sheets is healthy next year the Brewer rotation will be really good.

Through 3, 3-3 game of the 18 outs, 9 K's and 9 Fly Balls / Pop Outs. Lilly at 80 pitches which is good for the cubs because the Brewers can not hit anyone in their pen. Lilly 5 K's through three.

I grew up idolizing Dale Murphy, Bob Horner and Bedrock by the way.

F' that what was the White Sox record last year when Chris Widger was released......... What was their winning percentage during his tenure with the White Sox.......

Ozuna Fields Thome Konerko AJ Rowand Dye Crede Richar Bench Pods, Erstad, Hall, Utility IF, RH bat My assumption being that Ozuna was a pretty good SS prospect coming up through the Cardinal organization if I am wrong, whoops. This allows some cash for the pen and a healthy Crede.
