Are there actually fans there? On the radio it sounds like the place is going nuts.

QUOTE(BigSqwert @ May 10, 2007 -> 01:13 PM) Looking at the top of the Gameday scoreboard it looks like the Dodger/Marlin game is a good one. No score in the bottom of the 9th with runners on. Willingham 3 run shot to end it. Uribe with a shot, nice. Didn't the coach go out to talk to Silvia when he hit Mack or was that the Sox trainer......
-
How could you not leave him in left until Pods comes back?
-
If Sweeney drives him in, he should not go down on Monday.
-
Singleton believes he hit Mack accidentally......1-2 on a .186 hitter, ya think Iguchi should bunt.
-
With how slow he looks in RF Dye may be looking at a DH career. Trade him to the Angels for Figgins and one of those good prospects they could use some pop in therir line-up and he could DH and give Guerraro a blow every once in a while. I am only half joking. I also believe the Sox do not have him in their plans for next year. Nice K and inning.

Dye needs to do something here.

Braves meet with Rainbow/PUSH officials

You know what would be funny, if one of the Braves people said, "Oh s*** we thought Andrew Jones was black, ah crap, well.................hey we can call up Willie Harris." -
The hitting approach is sad right now. Jason Kubel? Give me a f***ing break. Twins are getting really good swings.
-
How does a 40 year old pitcher not know if he throws side arm or over hand? Nice K Ed not sure about the strike zone
-
Not a good start.
-
Farmer taking a page out of Hawk's book. Seems to be tipping the cap to Silva also notes that should a runner get on for the Twins, they will be stealing.
-
Barlett's double in the 8th seemed to carry over Dye's head. MLB should make them put flags on the ventailation ducts.

QUOTE(Soxfest @ May 8, 2007 -> 06:05 PM) ESPN BREAKING NEWS Clemens pissed in Kentucky toilet.......highlights when they become available! My god the coverage of his kid was sickening. The programming on ESPN is horrendous. The man is f***ing 45 years old when he came back to the Astros nobody really cared.

Is there a chance Ben's mom was still alive. A ghost/vision would not tell you to stop before hitting the fence.... The guy that picked them up outside Portland needed children.................although I suppose they would've had to bury her or something. Would be a good flashback and reason for Ben to turn on Dharma. The scientific edge of the Hostiles is somehting I am missing. They looked like nomads and all of a sudden they are this society conducting fertility tests? I think there is a bit more to that sorry. The thing is, I do not think Ben is as old as he appears. Richard did not age and that was really odd but when Ben killed his dad (nice tie in to Locke by the way) he seemed old and although his dad did to......not sure about this one. I thought the episode was really good but I do not like the Sci-fi thing and Locke getting shot is weird. If Sayid is killed I will not watch the show. Also Kate is a complete moron.

Guillen leans toward demoting Sweeney
Harry Chappas replied to Controlled Chaos's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Molina appears to call a very good game but to try and get him more playing time is a bit goofy. He is not ready for the majors. Sometimes Guillen really confuses me. I understand AJ needs a rest but there have been plenty of off days. If the reason to get Molina playing time is for his defense why was Ozuna play left over Anderson neiterh are hitting. -
Tonight's episode will continue to take the show in a new direction and begin the process of blowing your doors off which will occur in these last episodes. The LostSpolier website doesn't even give it all away as it usually does. Sounds like another keeper.

The NL is an absolute disgrace. I attempted to gain solace watching the cubs lose and had to turn it off after a lead-off triple and walk were followed by three guys batting that were horrendous for the Pirates. The last hitter in their bench is pathetic.

Make Morenau hit a good pitch, not that hard. Our pen is not nearly as good as it was suppossed to be. Still need to hit Cintron, Koonerko and Dye are just bad.

The funny thing is that ESPN will pretend he doesn't exist or make excuse after excuse if he gets lit up. They do this with Dice-K. When he pitches good there is mind numbing analysis when he pitches bad there are plenty of excuses.
-
If Detroit sucked he would be pitching Thursday.

On the Comcast pe-game yesterday that stated that he will be back in May and may go to a ML destination with Thome later this week. Hall, Podsednik, and Thome should all be producing for the White Sox June first.

Ozuna should be at short he is better than Cintron and Mackowiak is better than Cintron and a better defender than Dye. Dye should DH. Guillen just loves his Cintron and 2-40 start. We may be shutout. -

Posted this yesterday. The fact is this series is not set-up for us to do anything. Next week we should be ready to turn it around after hitting rock bottom. If you expect big games today or tomorrow you are going to be very disappointed. Don't they have Escobar-Lackey and Colon going, missing Santana. I also believe that somehow Johan Santana will pitch next week, Gardenhire always lines it up this way. Scores for the next 3 days; Angels 6 Sox 2 ----Escobar 7 scoreless Angels 5 Sox 1 -----Lackey 8 innings 1 run Angels 3 Sox 0 ----Colon 7 shutout innings ---Back end of Angels bullpen gets some work for first time in series and retires all six batters they face, 5 by strike-out. I also think if Santana doesn't pitch, the Sox sweep the Twins in the dome next week. FWIW
