Yes he has owned the team for 41 years and is 87 years old, nothing is changing...similar to his partner in crime Dollar Bill Wirtz
-
He should be in line to replace Dusty I would think.
-
They will bring in Willie Harris and he probably checks enough of the boxes to be hired.

The fact that Hahn isn't allowed to hire a manager is all you need to know. He makes no significant decisions for this organization and no GM is taking his role. He remains essentially the Asst GM. He is the HR rep that does the phone screening interviews and reviews resumes so that the real decision makers are given a final pool of candidates. Not sure there has been a bigger patsy since Lee Harvey Oswald. Kenny Williams is still running this organization, Hahn is just he mouthpiece that gets a nice title.

Someone needs to tell FOX 32 they are still broadcasting

Someone better ask why Colas was not looked at

Jesse Rogers with a great question about why can Detroit and KC make a change but Sox aren't

I wonder if LaRussa needed the money?

When looking at team totals for this year you have to look at Keuchel blowing things up for a while, never knowing what Kopech or if Kopech was available and a pen that had 50% availability most days. I'm not sure what LaRussa's role was v Katz but I will say this. Cairo was MIA until he was put in charge and then he was a refreshing change. We do not know what Katz's role was and as such maybe he can be better with a normal manager. If he recommended Gio putting on extra weight, that is a blow to his resume.

Just say no to Carlos "I'm the Product Here" Correa

At age 30 could he sign that deal? If so walking away from 2/$70 is not a wise choice. -

Go look at Brian's 2018 season. He did no favors with handling last year's team for this year. LA beat them as will MC but if they make the playoffs that will be fine. Brian goes 3-6 with this team. -
I haven't really followed along other than how did he get back in the game Sunday and then how is he cleared 3 f'ing days later. Sunday's events were not a mystery and the player can no longer pretend it's his leg that is hurt and not his head. There is protocol testing even if there is a maybe on a concussion. The testing may not have happened to allow him back in the game but it should have happened after the game and certainly prior to last night. In today's day and age this is really a WTF moment

Totally biased but it's still amazing that if the guy is not a completely incompetent OF how he wasn't given some sort of opportunity will Robert was spinnging around and trotting around all summer. Not sure how Engel stuck around as well. -

Will "core" players be traded before Spring Training?
Harry Chappas replied to joejoesox's topic in Pale Hose Talk
If Hahn goes yes but the White Sox love their guys. That is why we have four DH's and no LF or RF. -
What was the NL record prior to 199whatever year McGwire/Sosa/Bonds broke it.

F it lose them all and get a little bit better of a pick and more pool money. Anyone still watching is going to watch anyway win or lose as they have been unwatchable since mid April. -
Because the fans pay good money and deserve the best players. That line cannot be green enough.

Admitting a Wrong: Kenny Williams vs Rick Hahn
Harry Chappas replied to Look at Ray Ray Run's topic in Pale Hose Talk
If LaRussa is never heard from again I think that leads to the personnel moves being more on him. I have to question Hahn being neutered with the LaRussa hiring and not taking a stand but that is also easier said than done. I think Hahn should be allowed to hire the next manager and staff and the leash should be extremely short. This whole organization is f'd up as we do not even know if Hahn can make a move without Kenny. I think the bullpen infatuation and old man signings were LaRussa and I am hopefully that Hahn felt he had to go along for the ride. -
