I thought guys called up from DL had a day or two to acclimate. LaRussa is such a worthless POS.

Tony sets the tone for the team.

I think they played their best ball in the 2020 short season just ran out of gas at the end. They pulled the plug on Renteria and I think everyone agreed it was the right move but the changes made after that have failed. Player moves you can win or loss and are a bit arbitrary and dice roll. Losing Rodon was dumb but Cueto covered that move. The first big miss The drunkard old man to manage The second, retaining both he and Menechino this long What happens at year end.......any move they make makes them look foolish as those moves should have been made in May, June, July or earlier this month. Not one person defends either of those dopes, If they retain them to spite the fans they really don't care. They fired Lemont when they should not have but yet we see this shit year after year.

Heads Up: Site is all upgraded and we are back

The mobile site has been playing injured for me for a while. As always thanks for the opportunity to share my hatred for the Chicago White Sox. -
Alek and then Massey after him to end this season.
-
This is probably a carrying water comment but when the defensive replacement drops a game ending pop up after all the shit this team has done stupidly this year, can you blame him. Yes he needs to pitch over it but he like everyone had to be like WTF.
-
If they give him any power we will be watching more Big Energy and Joe Kelly.
-
For some reason I think Joe Maddon is the right guy.
-
Probably.......they have been since they hired the sleepy drunk. Many including myself wanted to think he would be fine but it is undeniably an unmitigated disaster.
-
He was probably asleep on the bus by the time the pulled out

Why no Romy? They need to see if he is anything. Got all the power in there. So Vaughan bats 9th and now can lead off.
-
7 hits with runners in scoring position and 5 runs.....SMH

If any sox hitter had that AB Tony would talk about how great it was for a week.

They know they can run on the Sox...what a fantastically managed team. -
Sadly that makes sense. Thanks for the info

I was saying if they shut him down with the knee he'd not be anywhere reliable for next year as a starter and closer to being a big pen chip. He has durability issues as well as limited pitches. He needs time to develop the second and third pitch in order to be a consistent starter. He is 2021 Cease......hopefully his 2023 is 2022 Cease.

Can someone explain to me why they just don't make college loans interest free instead of forgiving them?
-
I don't know. If they shut him down in June of this year or whatever then he is back at square one. At some point he needs to pitch and if he is not an option because of injuries so be it. He is looking more and more like a reliever especially if he has no second pitch especially if he can't pitch enough to develop it. The difference between he and Cease is innings pitched at the MLB level.

Bring up Davis martin. Banks is here for 4 days is my guess.

I wonder how much of this is based on the cost of minor league players and all of the low wage and housing concerns. Move everyone to AZ and FLA and have complexes there like the Dominican and other foreign countries. Then team can manage and develop everyone at the same time and place. This is a huge cost consolidation and kills MiLB.

His style works for the early 80's Cardinals but not for a beer league softball team that doesn't have the young athletic fellas.

Whatever he was signed to do, he is not doing.

Getting nothing but salary relief for any of them and this organization is not smart enough to make that beneficial. -
