  1. I like that Stone called him out not that it means anything.
  2. Rather fitting this season that Anderson is an all star and Cease and Abreu are not.
  3. The epitome of this team and the inability to adjust to MLB pitching. He will get hurt in the next couple of weeks miss 4 weeks and we will hear about he never really got his timing back BUT JUST WAIT UNTIL HE IS HEALTHY NEXT YEAR! Robet and Moncada will get hurt again the coming weeks and then the excuse is there.
  4. They spend money like the Bears do. The can say, hey look we spend but the coaching and organizational expenses are probably at he bottom of the barrel. The amount of money that Hahn pisses away is simply amazing. It kept the carrot out there nicely though so JR is happy.
  5. They changed nothing after last season not a thing. This is the exact same thing we saw in the second half of last season. They can saw they pulled back or what not and that is bullshit they were not good thisis how they played last year and why they got their asses kicked in the playoffs and did nothing to address it. Mediocre RHP shut this lineup down last year and are doing it again this year. Nothing has changed.
  6. My two high school son's have written them off. They got pretty fired up in 2019 and 2020 and last year was good but now they have moved to better things do. This team just sucks so bad it is not entertaining to watch. Watching players that don't give a shit is not entertainment.
  7. They will. It was bad last year and they ran it out again.
  8. The White Sox are 62-100 or something like that since 2012 against the Indians. The White Sox have been built this way under Williams and there are a few threads about it on this site currently. Any RHP they will struggle against and with poor defense the more you put the ball in play the more your weak defense is exposed. The White Sox have one what I would call a professional hitter and that is Abreu and that goes away from time to time when he goes into major funks. They buy into the hype of the Eloy, Anderson, Robert, etc which are exposed at the MLB level. You see Sheets has changed up his approach as he realized MLB pitching is pretty good. Anderson was progressing that way but he seems to be unable to manage the life of a professional baseball player which is sad. The rest of this team is guess hitters and over swinging fools.
  9. The all star sections for the White Sox are all you need to see. Anderson has no business being there and Cease does yet Anderson is starting and Cease is not even invited.
  10. I feel like I have been screaming about this every season for as long as I can remember. The White Sox never just fight off good pitches they ground out weakly or pop out. A hitter has a 7 or 8 pitch at bat once a game and maybe a 10 pitch at bat once a week. Other teams seem to have this in an inning and game. The at bats by Abreu and Vaughan on Thursday and Friday are the epitome of this approach. The White Sox swing at the first strike they see whether it's hittable or not. I am not sure any of them have the ability to recognize pitches and just going to the plate swinging. The at bat by Anderson in the 7th last night from your leadoff hitter typifies this. This organization has very poor baseball IQ.
  11. He crumbles under pressure sans 1 AB in Iowa.
  12. Anderson didn't see a pitch close to a strike but yet was never ahead in the count. Guy need to get his personal shit together if he can't handle life.
  13. That could be the dumbest I've read in a looooong time and I just tried to get a pitcher on IR in the game.
  14. Why was VV not brought in to the game after the third. At 92 pitches Lynn should have been done. Lynn sucks BTW
  15. Big game......come out flat....seems familar
  16. Team is finally to a point where the lineup is fine regardless of who is run out there. I'd like to see Harrison play daily. The sporadic play of McGuire is rather odd to me. Vaughn has been slumping lately so Pollock and Jimenez playing above him against the good slider may have merit.
  17. The problem with that area is it is rather inaccessible. I was going to go to a concert down there this past weekend and simply thought, it is too much work. I know the El is there and highways are close but the congestion is crazy. Also the stadium amenities suck worse than Solider Field.
  18. 4-4 and 3-5 while not ideal probably moves the needle neither way. While not happy with that, if they go into the break 4.5-6 GB there is still hope. Neither Cleveland or Minnesota are running away with the division.
  19. I thought Sheets made an out in the 6th and went to cut the grass after pissing and moaning in this thread. Now I gotta go watch the 6th inning on.
  20. Foster is terrible. There is no indication this team will score a run so can't waste Lopez graveman or Hendricks with no off days and DH.
  21. I wish they took him out but pen is no sure thing
