  1. Is downloading the mp3 file not allowed anymore? That's the most convenient way for me to listen.
  2. I think the important thing is we're 6-1 over the last 7 games!!!! Let's hope they can keep that going!
  3. QUOTE(Y2HH @ Apr 4, 2007 -> 11:39 AM) I'm as die hard as they come -- I simply dislike cold weather baseball. As a matter of fact, I hate cold weather everything except snowboarding, for obvious reasons of necessity. I like to enjoy my ice cold beer at the ballpark when I can sit there in shorts/t-shirt and watch the game...without having to hold said ice cold beer with my jacket over my hand. People ask me why I think global warming is more hype than end of the world cometh...go outside right now, and you'll see why. Wimp.
  4. Damn it! I'm blaming Rex... it's all Grossman's fault!
  5. Damn it! I'm blaming Rex... it's all Grossman's fault!
  6. I'm planning on hitting the Thursday game, (last game of the Celeveland series), but the weather might be terrible. I just saw for wednesday theyre saying 38 and wet snow.
  7. Roeper is a tool. Roeper has always been a tool. And no, he shouldn't stick to movie reviews, he sucks at them. I really hate Roeper.
  8. He never could do it for us, could he?
  9. Well F**K, I tuned in to 1000 based on this advice, and it doesn't sound like KW is coming on at all.
  10. QUOTE(mu mu @ Oct 2, 2006 -> 09:23 AM) Do they stream? Answering my own q... It look like they do.
  11. We took 2 of 3 from the Twins, who basically kicked out asses the whole year, and we did it in their house. Seems like we finally did something right, not something wrong.
  12. Tigers, it'd be cool to see the AL Central take 2 in a row, and I really dislike the Twins, so I'll root for Detroit.
  13. QUOTE(LVSoxFan @ Sep 26, 2006 -> 09:48 AM) I think it's safe to say that the Brian Anderson Experiment is over, unless he has a hell of a season in winter ball. Give BA a break, he's young, he's shown improvement at the plate, he's only going to get better. He should be here.
  14. QUOTE(The Critic @ Sep 25, 2006 -> 01:42 PM) Not only would that be cool, it's also absolutely necessary to make the weekend in Minny mean anything. Well, if you and your bo have plans to make a quiche and go to Yoga class, I'd hate baseball to interfere. Real men don't do yoga, we're too macho.
  15. We swept the tribe and minnesota lost at least 3 of their 4 with KC?
  16. QUOTE(LVSoxFan @ Sep 21, 2006 -> 01:08 PM) You guys sure about "two extra" weeks? Because I remember that if we hadn't swept Houston, there would have been a game on Halloween Saturday (i.e., the Saturday where everybody goes out). That's more than two weeks extra. Well there we have it. May. June. I think our longest streak 2nd half has been four. No, we won 5 aug 10-14.
  17. Results... TB: 2-1 KC: 1-2 BOS: 1-2 CLE: 2-2 LAA: 2-1 OAK: 0-3 8-11 so far. 13 games TO GO... DET (3 Home) SEA (4 Home) CLE (3 Away) MIN (3 Away)
  18. Yea, I'm sick of hearing Hawk and DJ saying how some unkown pitcher with an era of 8 is "really putting on a clinic out there." Is it me, or does it seem like every rookie pitcher, that gets beat up by everyone else, all of a sudden becomes Johan Santana when the Sox face him? At some point I have to wonder, is it good pitching, or piss-poor hitting?
  19. QUOTE(Hideaway Lights @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 01:18 PM) Tigers are something like 12-23 in their last 35. Why are people assuming they will even go 8-8? KC has been really good recently as well and are no pushover. Yea, in different words, that's what I was saying earlier in the thread. You never know, the Tigers, and possibly the Twins, might play well under 500 ball the rest of the way. We can hope anyway, hope that the Tigers continue to slide, and the Twins begin to slide. It's certainly not set in stone, that we MUST go 11-2 over the next 13 to get into the playoffs, that's not true.
  20. Not neccessarily, we could see the Tigers, or possible the twinkies, suffer a meltdown. Could happen, that's all I'm sayin.
  21. It makes sense that noone in the dugout should talk about it, but I don't think the rule applies to anyone else. I've heard that in such a situation, not only does noone in the dugout talk about the fact that a nohit and/or perfect game are happening, but on top of that, noone even talks to the pitcher, at all. Not sure how true that is, though.
  22. Results so far... TB: 2-1 KC: 1-2 BOS: 1-2 CLE: 2-2 LAA: 2-1 8-8 so far. 5 teams and 16 games left. OAK (3 Away) DET (3 Home) SEA (4 Home) CLE (3 Away) MIN (3 Away)
