  1. They have been terrible GM's for over a decade now, they will never learn
  2. The owner that has employed the same management team that has failed to compete in September let alone in October far more often than not for nearly two decades
  3. Lmao at how terrible this front office is and has been for over a decade now Just lmbo
  4. Just give Kw/Hahn a couple more decades, they're sure to make the playoffs again eventually
  5. I guess I ultimately won't fault the man for cashing an extremely easy paycheck rather than making a stand and quitting
  6. counterpoint: Hahn has been here nearly 20 years and he and KW have one good season to show for it
  7. whomp whomp fire the entire team from ownership on down
  8. That's what WGN was reporting at some point this weekend, that he was in either the dismissal meeting or the exit interview.
  9. Seems really weird that you'd have someone sit in on a firing during their first day of an internship
  10. I see my prediction that Machado will not sign with any team and will instead announce he's converting to tennis is still holding up
  11. It's pretty funny that he managed to get the NFL to put on such a disastrous halftime show that they were willing to pay him tens of millions of dollars a week later.
  12. He's given tons to worthwhile causes. I'm sure he'll keep doing so, and that the pop stars who stood by him don't need or want the money.

    Amazon HQ2

There was a lot of opposition coming from local politicians there who could really pump the brakes on the whole thing if they wanted. Amazon was promising 25k jobs. If all of those jobs actually materialized, NY would have to recoup 120k per job just to break even on the deal.
  16. Comptroller, but yeah, it was funny when her mayoral announcement ad leaked shortly before the election and she insisted that, no, she was definitely only interested in that position.
  17. Chicago mayoral race being this wide open might make a good argument for introducing instant runoff (ranked choice) voting
  18. Plenty of tackles fall short of "wrapping up and bringing to the ground," and it was in effect a tackle. If you think that play should be legal, then I guess we just don't want to see the same game. That wasn't an edge case or a "process of the catch" -type situation where there's no real way to understand the NFL's intention.
  19. The defender literally tackled the WR right in front of the ref. It was a failure of officiating, not a failure of rules not being clear enough.
