That would be my ideal scenario. Sox win the division and #3 seed to get the Astros at home. That’s the best possible first round matchup but unfortunately with Oakland dropping a DH today not going to happen
It’s never as bad as it seems during the bad times and never as good as it seems during the good times. This is still a good team, they’re just not great yet. Despite this recent bad stretch, there’s still a chance to make a deep playoff run.
Hopefully the Tigers can steal one in Minny. If they do, the Sox still control their own destiny heading into the weekend Cubs series even if they get swept in Cleveland.
Our public grade school is back in hybrid model as of last week. Two groups of kids, group A attends in-person Monday and Tuesday while group B attends in-person Thursday and Friday. Going well so far. My sister works for an adjacent grade school and I guess they are finally preparing for hybrid as well. Apparently the parents were quite irate at the last school board meeting and made it quite clear that they were displeased with all remote.
I was previously told by multiple posters on this site whenever the question of framing came up that baseball savant was the most accurate. Is that no longer the case???
Based on what metric this season?
And why is Edwin playing over McCann? That’s the biggest question. Despite the occasional home run, not a fan of DHing a guy with an OPS of sub 700.
