  1. Without a doubt it was a talented group but I like this group better. I think this group could produce a hall of famer and a few MVP seasons.
  2. I like this group better than the early 2000s personally. I think the early 1990s was better, though, this group may be a bit deeper.
  3. There’s a dozen or so legit prospects I left out but just trying to highlight the top prospects as well as those already contributing at the big league level.
  4. When is the last time the White Sox had this type of young, controllable talent throughout the organization? Early 1990s? C - James McCann/Zack Collins 1B - Andrew Vaughn 2B - Nick Madrigal 3B - Yoan Moncada SS - Tim Anderson LF - Eloy Jimenez CF - Luis Robert RF - Luis Basabe OF - Charlie Tilson OF - Ryan Cordell INF - Yolmer Sanchez UTIL - Leury Garcia SP - Lucas Giolito SP - Michael Kopech SP - Dylan Cease SP - Dane Dunning SP - Carlos Rodon SP/RP - Reynaldo Lopez CL - Alex Colome RP - Aaron Bummer RP - Jace Fry RP - Evan Marshall RP - Hansen, Hamilton, Thompson, Burdi, etc. Those guys are all 30 and under and controllable through next season at a minimum. Pretty impressive list.
  5. And Eloy is a bat only guy. Robert clearly is not. Even if Robert posts a 700ish OPS his rookie year in MLB, he will still be a very productive player due to his defense and baserunning
  6. Each individual player is different. Just because he’s come up through the Sox organization doesn’t mean he will follow the same path of all those before him in the organization.
  7. How many minor league games did Juan Soto play before his MLB promotion?
  8. He’s gotta be the Sox pick then no? Seems like a no brainer here.
  9. Any signability concerns with Hampton this late?
  10. Shucks. Figured it was a stretch. Hopefully Misner or Davidson get there but also doubtful.
  11. Any chance Hoese falls to the Sox in the second round?
  12. Scooter would be a nice signing and shouldn’t break the bank by any means.
  13. Welcome Andrew. Next step, sign JDM this winter. It’s all coming together ?
  14. Cease has nothing else to prove in AAA. Hopefully they are eying a debut against the Yankees at home the weekend of 6/14. Four game series that I’d love to see Gio and Cease get two of those starts.
  15. Dare I say THE best pitcher in the AL right now?
  16. I like Betances too but there’s a good chance his best days are behind him, will he be healthy the rest of this season and beyond and, if so, there’s a good chance the Yankees extend him.
  17. You said it’s easy to find a good closer in free agency. So this should be easy. Who’s your guy and how many years/$ would you give him?
  18. Betances hasn’t pitched all season due to injury. He was throwing upper 80s in spring training. Giles is arb eligible next season. He won’t be available. Rondon was demoted by the Cubs from the closers role 3 years ago when he was running an ERA in the mid 3s to low 4s and hasn’t served as a primary closer since. So that’s your guy then? How many years and how much money would you pay Rondon entering his age 32 season next year?
