  2. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Oct 29, 2016 -> 11:35 PM) What are you talking about? The Cubs look terrible. They've scored 7 runs in 4 games and your unbeatable Cubs pitchers have already lost in this series. This is over. But they have assembled the best lineup in the history of the game duh
  3. It's weird Deadpool hasn't showed up in this thread since the series started. He must be working long hours again and can't spare 5 minutes to praise the Indians for the good baseball they're playing.
  4. QUOTE (chw42 @ Oct 29, 2016 -> 09:42 PM) Red Sox and Blue Jays fans can share those feelings. This Indians team is sneaky good. Yep been saying it all postseason. Not sure why everyone thought the Cubs offense was so much better than the Red Sox or blue jays.
  5. QUOTE (chw42 @ Oct 29, 2016 -> 09:40 PM) Eh I think you go with him anyhow. Maybe just for one inning. I don't think they should pitch Shaw after he went 2 innings yesterday. Go Miller 1 and save Allen if possible. Otero should throw tonight.
  6. It's just now sinking in for Cubs fans that the Indians are pretty good
  7. QUOTE (chw42 @ Oct 29, 2016 -> 09:32 PM) Coco Crisp killing the Cubs. He's been clutch all postseason. Terrific under the radar trade by the indians especially given their outfield situation.
  8. QUOTE (Middle Buffalo @ Oct 29, 2016 -> 07:52 AM) I honestly think the Sox would have a real chance in a seven game series against the Giants, Dodgers, or Indians. Giants and Dodgers, yes. Cleveland, no. White Sox would need 1 or 2 shutdown bullpen arms to compete with Cleveland in a short series IMO.
  9. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Oct 28, 2016 -> 10:53 PM) The best news of this game is Miller will be able to go again tomorrow with under 20 pitches. Still can't believe Shaw got through 1 2/3 without a run given up. Just gives you an idea of how goof the Indians are to do this without Brantley, Santana and Carrasco. That would be like the Sox without Eaton, Quintana and Rodon still going 9-2 against 3 of the top 5-6 teams in baseball. Still hard to believe that the White Sox had a better non-divisional record (46-40) than the Indians (45-41) this year. Cleveland simply dominated within the division while the White Sox got beat up by the top 3 teams in the division.
  10. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Oct 28, 2016 -> 10:55 PM) Also crazy how the only wind-aided ball was the one Chisenhall couldn't handle against Soler. Especially with Tomlin giving up 26 homers in less than a full season of starts. Tomlin has been extremely impressive all postseason. He did this against an even better offense earlier this month, Red Sox. http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/why-josh...een-in-a-while/
  11. QUOTE (whitesoxjr27 @ Oct 27, 2016 -> 05:02 PM) There is this also. http://www.strat-o-matic.com/community/ann...nl-vs-cleveland Um this is scary
  12. QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Oct 28, 2016 -> 09:14 PM) Why not play Crisp over Chisenhall, dude is just dreadful. Been saying it all Series. Get just about anyone else in there. He's been brutal at the plate and in the field.
  13. Not a great AB by Lindor. Huge momentum shift there
  14. Found this interesting http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseb...1027-story.html
  15. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Oct 27, 2016 -> 07:17 AM) #shook #bandwagonfan
  16. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Oct 27, 2016 -> 05:21 AM) Still can't believe what Schwarber is doing. Literally the only Cub I'm very fond of. Good guy off the field from the interaction I had with him months back and his walk up music is my favorite rap group of all time. Can't help but root for the guy. I still hope his tean loses, but I wish him individual success. Must be taking the same all natural herbal supplements and doing yoga like Jake
  17. QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 26, 2016 -> 08:54 PM) Finally squaring him up. His stuff wasn't great tonight but took advantage of the conditions I thought Ramirez tagged him in the first. Obviously would have changed the outlook of this game completely. Oh well that's baseball and Arrieta settled in after that. They needed to play a clean game to win tonight and certainly were far from that. Need to find a way to take one at Wrigley to bring it back to Cleveland and then you never know.
  18. QUOTE (iamshack @ Oct 26, 2016 -> 07:44 PM) Not so different than Jose Contreras back in the day. While it is frustrating to watch, you'd rather have that than him just getting whacked around quickly, like Kershaw in game 6. Absolutely
  19. Feels like 5-0 Cubs right now. Hard to believe it's only 2-0. That Bauer outing was painful to watch. Slow and laborious
  20. Said it before the game started if they can get 4 or 5 innings and 2 or less runs out of Bauer consider it a success.
  21. QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 26, 2016 -> 07:03 PM) Naquin has looked horrible whenever I've watched him this postseason. Tons of swings and misses. Pressing
  22. Good stuff as usual http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/the-in...een-crazy-good/
  23. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Oct 26, 2016 -> 07:34 AM) Kluber is really the only starting pitcher for Cleveland that can do what he did last night. The rest of the rotation is meh right now. Gonna be a bullpen battle for two games and the Cubs have the advantage with how their lineup works pitchers. Still think cubs in five. But isn't this the same thing Red Sox and Blue Jays fans were thinking in prior rounds?
