  1. Viciedo has 1 great month and 2 bad months thus far this year. With how streaky he is at this point in his career, I am not yet convinced he will be a major contributor this September and October (if we get there). I do think he has huge potential though so you really need to keep playing him until he proves he can't contribute to a playoff-contending team.
  2. remember 2 weeks ago when soxtalk was appalled at the thought of trading adam dunn and would have given up floyd for a bag of balls. that's why it's a long season. come on boston do us another favor, would LOVE to swap dunn for ortiz
  3. his offspeed pitches are all over the place
  4. this is a game reed needs to get, can't blow a 3 run lead to these twins
  5. I agree with Marty on this one. What good is Hudson at this point? He can't hit. He can't play a good defensive 3B to backup Youk. Escobar is a better option at backing up both 2B and 3B. Escobar and Danks are better options as pinch runners off the bench. Why not make the pinch hitter upgrade to Johnson over Hudson? This bench really lacks a bat off the bench. Maybe Johnson can be that guy this year, maybe not. We won't know unless we try. But there is one thing we know for sure, Hudson is not that guy.
  6. Lol fitting for Hudson to end the game with a weak popout
  7. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 19, 2012 -> 09:12 PM) Geez, did he boot a ball? Bad throw? Error cost em a run and popped to short with one out and bags juiced
  8. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 19, 2012 -> 09:11 PM) Is there a meltdown on here tonight? We losing to the s***ty Cubs again? Amazing. Who is the goat tonight so far? Odog
  9. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jun 19, 2012 -> 09:04 PM) The Sox have to score. I think they will. If I thought it was hopeless, I wouldn't bother watching. I really hope you're right. Certainly a chance with this cubs pen but cant say so confidently especially the way he sox have been swinging the bats at home as of late
  10. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jun 19, 2012 -> 09:02 PM) About what? This game
  11. What is the reason for the drop in offensive numbers? It's hard to believe PEDs could be the lone contributor especially when you look at the trends over the past 5 yrs when testing increased. Maybe it took awhile to weed the rest of the users out of the league.
