didnt see much of the game yesterday but how did BA look? i saw he was 1-4 on the night

I mentioned in a thread the other day that both sisco and thornton scare me a whole lot and logan well hes boone logan not much more you can say. I really think that sisco and thornton are near spitting images of one another. Both have control problems and both only have one quality pitch, a fastball. I know thornton had a nice year last year but I've said from the start of this year that if he turns into a neal cotts-suck fest this year then it really doesnt matter how good he was last year, we need a shutdown guy from the left side in that bullpen otherwise mac-daddy is going to get really overworked. anybody else concerned about these guys or is it just me?

its hard to believe the sox are even 5-7 at this point. ranked last in MLB in runs scored and 17th in MLB in ERA. so on the positive side things can only get better from here. right?

They beat teams within the division because they pitched well. 3.61 is a hell of a lot better than 4.61, and that's why they won in 05 and they didnt in 06. Period. ask anyone what games are most important and they will tell you divisional games, take care of business in your own division and you have a GREAT chance of making the playoffs sorry if you dont buy that argument but thats the truth
