He’s basically performed at the same level as Bummer this season but he’s younger, cheaper, and under control for much longer. He seems fine as a lefty long reliever/spot starter.

I agree. He’s been outstanding this year and being that he’s 24 already I’d like to see him get MLB innings soon. My guess is we’ll see him late next month after the Sox trade Fedde and/or Crochet.

Fangraphs already has them at #12. After they trade the vets, including Crochet and Robert, they should add ~$150M in value. Crochet already up to 2.7 bWAR, 2.3 fWAR. Approaching Cease 2023 WAR levels and we’re only a week into June! With 2.5 seasons of super cheap control remaining, some might argue his trade value isn’t much less than Cease’s trade value last offseason. Really curious to see how his market shapes up as we near the trade deadline next month.

Schultz has Skenes potential if he can overcome the durability questions. His stuff is that good.
