The regime hasn't changed. You can't expect a different circus when the clowns are the same.

Was that ever confirmed?

Ohtan's $2 million salary generated up to $100 million in revenues
Rocky replied to caulfield12's topic in Pale Hose Talk
He never understood it. He didn't want to pay MJ and famously said he would probably regret those deals. JR is all about maximizing his and investors pockets. Stupidly not realizing that if you spend money, you can truly make a ton more. -
Potential Crochet Trade discussion Thread
Rocky replied to Chicago White Sox's topic in Pale Hose Talk
A Boston Fan Page Twitter account is hardly a source we should be paying attention to. -
There are 28 baseball franchises who would trade spots with the Yankees. I wish that were the Sox, even if we got swept by the Dodgers.
-
The fact that JR is finding out that Chicago is not going to bend over backwards on the new stadium is why I believe JR will sell the team. He is going to let the new owner fight the battle.

Vaughn sucks. Time to move on.

Levine: Possible frontrunner for manager - LAD 1B Coach Clayton McCullough
Rocky replied to Heads22's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I am resigned to the fact that we are stuck with Sizemore. McCullough would make too much sense, so we can forget about it. -
The problem does start at the top. JR is the biggest issue in the organization. If he truly wanted to win, he would fire Getz this off-season. Getz hired Grifol. This was his guy. Hold him accountable for the hire and for his horrible off-season and trade deadline moves. But we know it's not going to happen.

Great points. Pretty hard for anyone to replace Tom Brady. I was simply pointing out that interpersonal skills does not preclude someone from being a successful manager.
-
You brought up interpersonal skills as being important to be a successful manager. I countered with someone with horrible interpersonal skills that had plenty of success. Pretty simple.

See Bill Belichick.

The Onion is still a thing?

He was recently interviewed by the Sun Times and he said he would be open to returning to baseball as a GM or advisor. He never once said he wants to come back to the Sox though. Not sure the intention of the OP.

I feel for TA. A fan favorite and someone who I enjoyed cheering for. His fall is crazy. Wish him the best.
