Outwait? I don't think I agree with that as it implies that they can go however long they want. The Sox can wait but if they think they can wait into ST and further and it be to their favor they would be taking a risk. That allows for other team situations (like the Yankees) to change with either injuries, financial adjustments, or just flat out changing their mind.
