He made 1 bad throw. Jesus christ some of you really are the 11 pm 670 meathead callers

This will be all be solved in due time. No reason this Bears team should not be a Super Bowl contender and win their division with this defense.

Hicks going out injured? We have any major injuries on D and it's game over.

LOL, you know I saw that and just got distracted and didn't change it.

Reminds me of a paper I am having published where talking about species, I used the word "bread" instead of "bred". I did 10 proofs and never caught it, decided to give my paper one last go when I was on a train and saw it. Nearly cried it was so dumb.

I think if the bears win tonight, the NFCN will be undefeated against other divisions so far

Right you are, the only losses are by Bears and Vikes, thanks to the Packers. Packers defense has been a huge key in their resurgence. I honestly think they may be the best team right now, because their defense is good (not as good as ours, but still credible) and they have Rogers, who is a huge difference maker between them and the Bears and Vikes.

Didn't their lead singer go crazy and leave the band?

EDIT: he was into UFOs/aliens and left. Just googled it.

Yea the bassist (who sang tonight) also is lead singer (he sang songs like Rock Show, Adams Song, some others), but the original guitar player (not there tonight) did leave the band and he too sang (he sang hits like All the Small Things). The new guitar player was/is in a "horror punk" band called Alkaline Trio, who I like. Blink 182 are just OK for me, a bit too poppy and clumsy for me, but they have some decent tunes and are kinda fun.

This song tonight sounded like mopey modern pop music being shoved down our throats, but they were playing instruments tonight, usually it's keyboards and/or a computer. Whatever gets BANDS back on the scene is fine with me.

  5. My wife is set to beat me this week. I started David Mongomery over Tarik Cohen, started Moncrief over J.Brown and had that Andrews TightEnd on the bench for Baltimore, though I have the Raiders TE left to go, as if that's anything for me. And the Bears defense did great, but the scoring in that league really doesn't count defensive numbers worth a damn, as kickers generate more points that even good defenses.

Rare to see a player get his number retired only playing 1 season. Pretty incredible for Kaner (and it won't be the first time he sees his number in the rafters).

Kane's 88 will be in the UC rafters some day, and well deserved as if there was a bigger understatement.

Kaner deserves a lot of credit for how he grew as a person and a player.

Can't they do better than covey at this point. To be this far in the season and covey and detweiler getting starts is absolutely a black eye on Hahn.

With 2 potential starters (Kopech, Rodon) and another pretty good prospect who was getting close (Dunning) down for the count in what was still a rebuild year that would not see the Sox take on any high profile UFAs, the Sox were going to be scraping the bottom of the barrel as it is. After Lopez, Gio and Nova it was going to be a ton of mixing and matching. Sadly, Covey was part of that equation. Next year he won't be. I don't even think he'll be in this organization next year.
