  2. Good Luck my fellow Cali native. Stay strong!
  3. http://www.baseballamerica.com/today/minor...s/hotsheet.html Not the #1 prospect, but the hottest one as of late. Nice!
  4. Tom Verducci: http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news?slug=half...cnnsi&type=lgns No Halliday in top 3. Weird.

  6. 30 but I'll get more in tomorrow. Very busy at work today. How can we tell who is leading?
  7. Ribbie...welcome from the ghetto (espn). LOVE THE SIG, DUDE!!!
  8. Big Frank. Hopefully he will be playing first for me to have any chance.
  9. Crede was the only player close to Valentin today, but he wasn't selected. Manos wins with a 3-run bomb, 2 singles, 3 runs scored and a HBP = 13 points. Winners were WinningUgly and southsider2k3.
  10. Well this game was weak as far as PTC points go, but we had a tie between Maggs and Frank. Maggs = HR, rbi, run = 6 Frank = 2 doubles, rbi, walk = 6 We all know the tiebreaking system = -1 pt per out in official AB or CS Since Maggs hit his HR in a pinch hitting role and was 1-1, he is the winner. Only Maggs picker today was soxfaninbeverly.
  11. Winner of the Independence Day PTC was Brian Daubach with a HR, single, walk, rbi and 2 runs scored for a total of 9 points, but he wasn't selected on this day. Runner-up and new winner would then be Robbie Alomar with 2 singles, a walk, and 2 rbis for 5 points. Winners were: soxfaninbeverly, hotsoxchick1, and TheBigHurtBEGOOD.
  12. -Bottom of 4th: NEW YORK'S ALFONSO SORIANO, WHO LEFT THE GAME AFTER A PITCH HIT HIS LEFT HAND WHILE FOULING A BALL OFF IN THE FIRST INNING, AND DEREK JETER, WHO LEFT THE GAME AFTER BEING HIT IN THE RIGHT HAND BY A PITCH IN THE FIRST INNING, WERE BOTH TAKEN TO A LOCAL HOSPITAL FOR X-RAYS. Pedro f***ing them up! LMAO! Robin is now playing second base.
  13. The point was that we had designated Jiminez for assignment. He was going to walk as a free agent in a few days. No, the real point is or should be that he should have never been designated in the first place. Graffanino or Sanders should have been.
  14. E-Lo is slated to start Thursday's game against the Tigers.
  15. Ok, so now what about 2B for the future? Harris? Miles? As many of you know I was a HUGE Jimenez backer from the Pads days I saw him play at the "Q." I think this deal sucked in the sense that we didn't get a decent enough 2B prospect in return. We now have s*** for the future at 2B, especially if Alomar doesn't resign togive more time to Miles to develop more (how much time has he gotten already?).
  16. First time I pick Manos for a PTC all year I think....and he ends my drought (should end it).
  17. We ain't ficking around today I see. I hope this momentum carries over to Detroit on Tuesday. No more taking these scrub teams for granted...

    The 4th!!!!

I hope everyone had a great 4th. I went to a different beach this year, and actually surfed for the first time in my life. Some good waves so I said What the hell. I am burnt pretty bad on my knees and feet, other then that was a great time. Sea World has the best fireworks show I have ever seen. The finale lasts 15 minutes, and we could see it all from the beach. Peace all.
  19. That is correct. If you did say choose Konerko but he doesn't start, that's not to say he's not going to pinch hit late in the game... 1 pick per day, period.
  20. Lol great quote by Robin: The San Francisco Giants receive starting pitchers Wilson Alvarez and Danny Darwin, along with top reliever Roberto Hernandez from the Chicago White Sox. The White Sox, just three 1/2 games behind Cleveland in the American League Central, receive minor league SS Mike Caruso, OF Brian Manning, and Ps Lorenzo Barcelo, Keith Foulke, Bob Howry, and Ken Vining. In the house cleaning, the Sox have moved eight players with a combined 92 years of ML experience. Sox 3B Robin Ventura observes, "We didn't realize August first was the end of the season." I never heard that because I was sailing in the Pacific in 97...
