Shaq already hates not being "the man", Kobe wants to show more and more that he is the man......Malone better get used to playing D for once in his life, and Payton better get used to playing only D. If they start throwin' up shots, there's going to be all sorts of turmoil on that team.
It's also kind of funny that Malone and Payton both need to go to the Lakers to falsely "achieve" an NBA title, something both of them were denied by MJ on his second go around w/the Bulls
Those STATS stats are easily misinterpreted.
(I hate the guy now myself, makes me want to :puke )
80% (up or down by 3) is normal for most players. Problem is, he hits so many that typical flubs fans elevate him to god status. Chet calls them TMHR's...Totally Meaningless Home Runs .
As far as game winning homers, STATS is talking about bottom of the 9th game winning homers, obviously. Truly game-winning homers (or hits in general) are the ones that put you ahead to stay.
The last Soso homerun that won a game in my memory is from last year: http://www.retrosheet.org/boxesetc/B05212CHN2002.htm
I worked in Texas for most of 2000, in the Houston area. I had no problem with it. Found some great food, hot chix around in skimpy clothing, funny Texans poking fun at their own "ya'll" talk, and killer strip clubs
Oh yeah, Shiner Bock.
Now way does it make them look jealous. I think think it gives them an attitude; a well deserved and much needed attitude. With all the talk about the lack of fire in Manuel and this team this year, this is quite refreshing to hear, if it's all it's written up to be...
Crede. I passed on him yesterday, though I said I was taking him full-time vs. the Gnats, so I'm taking him today. Nice day yesterday, hoping it will carryover...
Fan taunts Sosa on field
Baltimore class.
Granted it may be funny (cork tossing, etc), and Sosa deserves it for being an asswipe, but this is yet another example of how fans anywhere can be losers running out on the field, not just in Chicago.
