I like having Mark for 3 years and wouldn't worry about the 4th. I think this should put him in a nice frame of mind. Right now he's the starter I have the most confidence in. I've been dismissing any talk of Koch playing for another MLB team next season as wishful thinking. Now I'm starting to wonder, are the Mets seeing something we aren't? I'm hoping that Koch and not Botch will show up next season, but it's just idle die hard fan wishing. Or have I missed something?

Any of the we're trying to cut a few people, or the I hate the if you invite A then you have to invite B who will bring C and if C comes you have to let D bring E? With the exception of PA, who just tipped his hand, I am keeping the nominating group secret from each other and everyone else. This way the final three won't know who to blame besides me I'm also allowing for private nominations via my PM and self nominations. I picked about 12 posters, some I kinda know, some I've never really crossed posts with but are active in at least one of the forums. If there is fault in the process it is I don't know everyone. I tried to pick young and old, male and female, straight, bi, and gay, black, white, asian, hispanic, admins, mods, and members, Texans and the rest of y'all. I asked the group to read the nominations on this thread on Monday and narrow it down to three in each category. I'll compile the polls from their lists.

it's going to be enough work to narrow down these 14 categories to have a decent poll. I agree there is plenty of room for some other more deserving awards.

Sure, MVP of each Board I've asked a number of people to narrow down the nominations. They will be reveiwing this thread on Monday and forwarding me their top 3 in each category. From there the polls will be determined. We also need a name for the award.

One of the symptoms of some mental diseases is trying to place everything in these sorts of patterns. The person will try and put their entire lives into, in his case, this 4 even space theory. If you look at his room it will be divided into 4 quadrants, pictures will be arranged that way, etc. The scary thing is the long list of now reputable scientists who were considered crack pots in their day. Newton, Galileo, etc. I obviously do not believe his theory but imagine some weird crackpot telling you the earth revolved around the sun whenb everyone knows that everything revolves around US Cellular Field
