Damn, when is Quayle coming out of retirement to challenge for this award? That would provide all the same chills as hearing And now, . . . from North Carolina . . . number 45 . . . (huh, 45? what happened to 23?)

I thought it was the Cocaine Basketball Association Notice no Texas cities on the list. I guess it is all the concealed handguns Texans carry around.

Should he have said lesbo? All too often it comes down to a policy that some board member introduces because a "concerened citizen" forces the issue. All these zero tolerance policies come to mind. I'll bet they inacted a long list words you can't say and gay was on there along with all the slurs we are use to calling PA and Southsider. Once that becomes the misguided stupid ass policy, teachers and administrators have to enforce the policy. I'll bet when the rule was being thought of they didn't ponder the reality that one of their students may have gay parents (they can't reproduce, can they?) We all know if this kid was in high school he buddies would have said cool! can we watch?

Obviously a case of the cops out to get him Plus remember in the 1950's, 60's, and most of the 70's it was damn near impossible to get a DWI (we started calling them DUI around the mid 80's) . The cops would normally give you a ride home and issue a cheap ticket like improper lane usage.

Fake, but a very nice one. This year my kids did most of the set up. My wife has wonderful memories of her families' white tree on a turntable with a color wheel changing the color from red to green to blue. They only had one kind of ornaments, all solid color balls.

http://www.snopes.com/travel/airline/airport.htm I was going to hijack Steff's thread on extradiction but thought this may make a nice thread all by itself. Basically the guy has been stuck for 10 years between countries. He can not leave the French airport.
-
In Jackson's situation he has surrendered his passport. France would probably return him because he would be in the country illegally. Pulanski is a French citizen, he never denounced it. He is in France legally. By-the-way, true story. There is a guy living in a French airport because of immigration paperwork. Long story, I'll find a link.

I bought mine at a billiards shop on Algonquin in Schaumburg. Most billiards shops carry the poker tables. Be certain to get the top that will cover the felt and you can use it as a side table or for other games.

Be careful Steff. Extradiction treaties are not across the board. For example Many countries will not extradite their citizens if the death penalty is possible. They may also not extradite if the crime isn't a felony (for example). You may find out that France does not extradite for statutory rape but they may for a murder. Still others may insist any sentences will be done in their country first. Hope this helps and why bother with a low life like Pulanski? His victim always comes out and begs that society just drop it. She claims today it was consensual sex. I don't happen to believe it, but I respect her wishes.

I wonder which of our kicked out "friends" this is. I believe the posts are the thing and could even live without the smileys, etc. (just don't take away my green) If you want style over substinance head over to the mlb boards

Say what you will but if it was announced that Steinbrenner bought the White Sox you could hear me cheering from here. The bullpen was as much a factor in our "1st Loser" position as anything else. I'm hoping that this means the club has some justification that Koch, instead of Botch will be with us next season. I wasn't a huge Flash fan, but thought he was as good as it got for us.

Are you sure you aren't a Cub fan? It's crap music because millions like it or by calling it crap you can adopt some cooler than thou. superioroty attitude? That's the same thinking that allows the Cubs to scalp tickets and put out a crap product while drawing 3 million and huge TV numbers. Now I need to get back to Placido Domingo in Madame Butterfly, the greatest performance in all the world. But you're taste in music sucks so bad you can't get opera.

I saw AC/Dc from the fronr row at the Horizon during thier Hells Bells tour and he was awesome. It was in the early days of wireless guitars and when he all of a sudden appeared in the middle of the crowd it was incredible.

PA, finally giving up the rotatry phone. Go slow take it easy. Get to know your phone before "flipping it open". Develop a nice relationship then use and abuse.

Verizon sucks. Dropped calls galore, sometimes I will have to dial an area code for a specific number other times I won't for the same number from the same spot (local call) I'll call from house and hear welcome to the cellular one network please dial an area code, other times from the same spot I'll stay on Verizons and the call will just go through normal. I also have a phone on cingular and it sucks along the border. I'll be flopped to the Mexico cell system but my Verizon works fine. But further into the US I'll get great coverage from cingular.

Shall we rename this thread bands so obscure no one will play them on a commercially viable radio station.

I'm amazed at the genious of staring into a bowl of egg drop soup and coming up with the mother and child reunion. I stare into a bowl of egg drop soup and think why isn't the egg cooked more.

Big 12 Basket Ball or NCAA Hoops Thread
Texsox replied to sox4lifeinPA's topic in A and J's Olde Tyme Sports Pub
I'm not ready to place the Big 12 as the premier basketball league in the nation. It has moved up considerably the past 5 years and maybe at the end of this season a better argument could be had. A&M? Go AGGIES -
Great interviewer also. The fact that highschool kids are still rocking to Queen is testimony to their genious. I had to help them with a lyric or two. lads are a but slow.

Any response to my earlier question? Who's writing with that depth and performing it that well today? I think we've reached the point where style is everything and substance is irrevelant. For the sake of argument I'll agree on S&G over J,P,G, and R but find me someone better today than either group.

It's music, what can anyone back it up with unless you're a music major and want to go into the inner mathematics? Hell it's easier to deflect someones opinion when it is just a two word phrase.
