I'm a Colon supporter and would love to see him stay another 3 or 4 years in Chicago but I still appreciated the effort and humor of corg's parody. When corg is attacking some people it's also some good stuff but only when he puts some effort into it. But when he gets tired or cranky or whatever and resorts to cheap bathroom shots I'm disappointed. Obviously he has some issues that would best be dealt with in therapy. However, therapy is difficult to get if you don't have private insurance or the financial means to pay for it. With government budget cuts even those most deserving and needing the therapy seldom get any. So I guess this is the best thing for him. As humanitarians we should all pitch in and help the nice old man by reading his posts and occasionally giving him targets to attack. So please, for his sake and those around him, let him flame away. As far as Jose knowing anything about what's going on with Bartolo he probably heard that from a writer and is repeating, or read ncorgbl's song My guess is they want to get a manager in here first, then look at our top line players and then look at Jose. I'm ok with Frank coming back. I would like to see him bat 5 or 6 in the lineup and depending on what other moves come down, I wouldn't mind seeing him play 30 or 40 games at 1st. I believe, but have no direct evidence to back it up, that if Frank was 1/10th as good as a club house leader as he is on the field, he would have a WS ring or two. I'm basing this on some of the direct whining quotes from him and comments from other players and managers on the way out. He's borderline HoF and shouldn't be. Throughout the mid 90's I would watch people stop dead in the tracks to watch Frank hit. He may have had the best combo of power, average, and "eye" of any hitter I've ever seen in person.
