  2. hmmm, maybe I'll sell memberships in soxtalk.com
  3. they go to public internet access like a library, start a new email addy, and they're back. No way to really stop it. They can ban an IP address so some people would be shut out from home or work but others with a dynamic address of who use public access will still be able to sneak by. Eventually they expose themselves and get banned again.
  4. It just doesn't matter what topic starts a thread by the third post were off on a tangent. hmmm beer, gotta go . . .
  5. But they played some tough D to hold the other team to only 61
  6. I collect Boy Scout patches and at any given time eBay has over 5,000 patches listed. I just saw an auction that started at $1.95 for some old stuff. The son was cleaning out the attic for his mom and didn't want the stuff to just be thrown away. The auction closed at over $6,000. If it wasn't for eBay they would have dropped it in the trash and been done with it. Pissed me off when a couple better heeled collectors found the listing. eBay is awesome. One of the top ten best things on the web.

    Last Fight

I was talking with a buddy who said one of the moments he realized he was old was it had been years since his last fist fight. I told him my last was in college when another buddy who is very tall, bent way over to read this girls t-shirt. Through the beer goggles he finally deciphered the words next to the sailboat pic It's not the size of the boat it's the motion of the Ocean! He looks at her, looks at her boyfriend and slurs small d*ck huh In a few moments we had a 5 on 5 going with me trying to stay out of the way until someone came to stop it. Damn bouncers put a little pain on us as we were escorted out the door. All at Popeye's in Lake Geneva. It was nearly 20 years ago today. Glad those days are long over.
  8. In HS, while a Freshman, we lost a game while scoring 1 point on a technical foul when a guy got pissed the ref called a double dribble on him. We couldn't (obviously) buy a bucket. Had a 1/2 court shot at the half-time buzzer nullified for having 6 men on the court (Duh!) I blew a wide open layup with about 6 minutes to go. Dribbled the ball off my foot Later, as varsity, we lost to Westinghouse in our Thanksgiving Turket Tourny like 123-38 or some big whomp. Larry Lujack had it as his Cream of the Week and hyperventilated he was laughing so hard. At half time channels 2, 5, 7, and 9 had all sent camera trucks to the game. Westinghouse alerted them a head of time they were really going to put the hurt on a team for the pre-season polls. They had 4 or 5 buses of fans show up at the game. We could have pulled 5 guys from their fans and they could have put up a better game. Could this be why I'm a Sox fan
  9. Sorry, while the Yankmees are the last A.L. team I would like to see win the WS, they are ahead of every N.L. team. I'm hoping for a NY 2 game win streak.
  10. Thinking about last season (still) I wonder if moving Frank to 6 and bumping Maggs to 3 could have won us a couple games. IMNSHO Maggs should be in the 3 spot. I know it helps Frank to have Maggs back there to get him some better pitches to hit. Maybe we'll see him there next season. Has he ever made any comments about batting order?
  11. Think he and George will be in commercials together?

Yo Aggie, Are you saying you don't like either Just like an Aggie to have a joke backfire. You know there is only one Aggie joke, all the rest are true stories
  13. Come open, come open The magic door with me with your imagination there's so much we can see a rooma zoom zoom a romma zoom zay Anyone remember were this is from? Hint, you'll probably have to be old enough to remember the days before cable and the internet.
  14. details oops, wait. How old are you again?
  15. Go with 5'12" sounds even cooler.
  16. I happened on a discussion board while looking for some tips on increasing my sales through eBay. These people are crazy. Some abstract, some obvious. They give each other points for displays, etc. Someone was selling a whatnot or widget. In the background was a mirror that had the ladies naked reflection. She received major points for that one.
  17. If you go full package, Ribbie's got everyone beat. Name, Avatar, and Sig In a league all his own.

I'm telling you Bartman could make a lot. $20 to scream at him? If I was him I'd have the 900 number in a minute. But I'm 1600 miles away and could run to Mexico in minutes I wonder how many poeple are going to dress up like Bartman for Haloween?
  19. There is a game of trying to have nude or semi nude sneak shots dispalyed on eBay. Look closely at some items and you will see all sorts of stuff. Anything shiney might have a reflection of a naked camera person "by accident" At least find a girl
  20. 6'1" A good friend of mine in High School and College was 6'10". Whenever a girl would ask how tall he was he'd respond how deep are you? Most couldn't reach his face to slap him some asked if he wanted to find out. Of all my close friends growing up, I was the shortest. I have a great jump shot. Total range is about 6' since I was always shooting straight up so I didn't eat it coming back.
  21. All this insider info. here's another one: We're going to fire Manuel when JR get's back, when Eddie visits, when KW is out of town and JR is here, When JR is out of town and KW is here, at the all-star game, after the Royals series, after the Twins series. Colon is here he wants to stay Colon is gone to the Yankmees for more money Colon is here he wants to stay Colon is gone to the Yankmees for more money Colon is here he wants to stay Colon is gone to the Yankmees for more money Anybody got a smiley spinning out of control. Wake me up after New Years Day.
  22. While I wore out the :fyou every time Billy Botch's name came up I don't buy for a minute he doesn't/didn't have an arm problem. Was/is it an injury or overwork? I don't know. I am guardidly (let's get a damn spell check?) optimistic for his 2004. Based on potential and past performance has the best chance of anyone on our 25 man roster to be a great stud closer. If not we have a bookend for Dibble. Did KW actually get

    No. 5

I'm worried about having a solid top 3. I expect Mark to rebound and have a 16-20 win season. I expect Cy-Lo to come back to earth and win 15. If Colon is signed I expect a 16-20 from him. After that I think 4 & 5 is open. Without Colon we have 3, 4, and 5 all up for grabs. At this point I wouldn't pen anyone into those roles.

    Should I grow

The more Billy pitched this season the more pissed I was everytime I saw his goatee. By the 6 or 7th blown save I wanted to remove it with a chainsaw. He is my poster boy for this failed season. Abo, go for it, you can always shave later. What does your modeling agent say?
