  1. Parents confirmed he took his own life. We never know what difficulties the people in our lives are dealing with. Famous of not, life can be tough. Call 988 to reach the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. It provides free and confidential support 24 hours a day, seven days a week for people in suicidal crisis or distress. You can learn more about its services here, including its guide on what to do if you see suicidal language on social media. You can also call that number to talk to someone about how you can help a person in crisis. For crisis support in Spanish, call 1-888-628-9454.
  2. Bought a ticket. I'm certain JR wouldn't mind 20,000 fans paid each night with signs to sell the team.
  3. How about a roulette wheel in the clubhouse? Put their numbers in a bingo game?
  4. For the sake of the discussion let's say you are the unluckiest player this year. Earlier you were the luckiest player in the league with the contract you signed. I believe statistically you've regressed to the mean. But maybe, some crazy GM will read that, think your luck is about the change, and we can part as friends.
  5. That was just a team friendly finance deal. Wouldn't you rather pay Iloy $500k a year for the next 26 years over $13 mil this year?
  6. They finally aren't rushing someone to the majors. He needs time in MiLB to be really ready.
  7. The Flying Chanclas. Great promotion.
  8. Looking at this lineup I realize I don't need a second MLB team to cheer. I'm going all in on the San Antonio Missions. Their AA lineup can't be much worse.
  9. a tall vertical structure of stone, wood, or metal, used as a support for a building, or as an ornament or monument. Definition checks out.
  10. https://www.news4sanantonio.com/news/local/kansas-city-chiefs-tour-bus-arrives-at-san-antonio-transmission-shop-local-news-near-me-football-nfl-teams-moving-rumors Chiefs tour bus breaks down in San Antonio.
  11. Once again my hometown is a pawn used by a NFL owner to blackmail a city into a new stadium. If my memory is correct here are the other times SA was used Saints after Hurricane Katrina Raiders before Vegas Vikings when SA businessman owned the team. Cardinals before Phoenix We do have a 60,000+ seat arena ready to go. Voters would pass a publicly funded football stadium. They would sell out a lot. The Spurs are well backed.
  12. Tony was years ahead of everybody with load monitoring and having guys not go all out.
  13. Let's see what we got and clear out the deadwood. Here's some guys that are last chance types. Let's just get through this season with whatever warm bodies we can find. If we getz a month out of them that's fine, we'll just DFA them and move on. I can easily accept that if I saw a core that's two years away toiling in the system they don't want to rush to Chicago. I don't see the future.
  14. Eventually they will be allowed to bet on everything with everyone. But it will be made public.
  15. Mr. Combs you really shouldn't kick and drag people around. But when a President brags about grabbing women by the crotch because he's rich, I imagine it gets confusing.
  16. I understand the need to advertise in any business. And I doubt the "baseball staff" was much involved in this venture to say it's a distraction. But . . . It's sports. Just fucking win. That's way better than any advertising to put butts in the seats and eyeballs on the TV.
  17. Tony was the best and worst thing that happened to the currently playing in Mexico Yerminator.
  18. I'm guessing we would have been horrible at framing.
